This is the first time I’ve wanted to buy into a seasonal collection from any line, really. These are my colors (Mediterranean ethnicity); I went ahead and ordered the quad, both blushes, and five lippies in the various formulas as these will be my first Chanel lip products other than their gloss. But this is going to be my only new makeup purchase of the year (also on a low-buy 2022!). I agree with your assessment: for a lot of folks, this is going to be a lot like what they already have, but I don’t do cool pinks and purples or daring eye looks, so this collection is for me. Thanks for the video!

The blush you thought could be used as a bronzer would be beautiful just used as a blush. Using a lighter hand on the cheeks would be so pretty for a sheer plum-y shade. Eyes are beautiful. I'm looking forward to the red camellia collection.

Beautiful daytime look! A soft glam without heavy bronzer. An easy touch on the eyes made your blue eyes stand out more.

Those blushes are interesting in that I just finished watching Michele Wang's video on this collection and the blushes appear more coral on her. They look more pink on you.

HNY Erin🥂. I think the blushes are the stars of the collection. Perhaps using a blush as a bronzer was your mistake…..try it with a light hand as a blush….it really is pretty. Mixing the two blushes works well too. The nail polishes are worth getting also…..the colours are quite unique and lovely. 😀Deb

I love your honest review Erin, my only complaint is the distracting blurriness of this video. It was hard to see what these products really looked like on your skin. You're beautiful so I'm sure it is nice in person , it just was a bit fuzzy.Anyway , Happy New Year my friend!!!

Yay!! I have been waiting for this video from you!!! So excited!!! After watching your review and a few others so far I dare say I’m skipping this whole collection and saving my money. I am more interested in the Dior spring collection like their quints they just released and new lip colors. I’m trying to make 2022 a low buy year where I go through my own makeup inventory and ask myself if I really need this or that when I haven’t even touched something I have that is similar. Especially eye palettes and lipsticks. I’m only getting something if I don’t have anything like it and it sparks true joy for me. I love the new collection, but I am not planning to purchase anything from it. I received some new Dior for Christmas and I want to get use out of that first. If I have a moment of weakness, I may just buy one of the Rouge Coco Balms, but I have so many lipsticks that I need to use first. I think the look you created today was stunning!! I love the new lighter blush colors and the nail polishes too. 💖

I initially picked up the quad, peach blush, and balm essential. Then I saw another review and picked up two lip balms and the darker blush which I love (I have light medium skin). This collection is just beautiful to me - great for everyday looks and I am so excited to wear now and in the upcoming months!

I picked up both of the blushes in this collection and for my skintone they look really pretty! The deeper shade definitely looks scary in the pan but I use a very soft, loose blush brush and barely tap on the blush and it gives the perfect bronzed blush look! It definitely does not work as a bronzer but it's a pretty bronze/ brown blush on the cheeks 🥰 I do however miss the tweed blushes that Chanel used to release in the summer... I'm really hoping they release them this year!

Use a buffer brush to tone down the bronzer color blush. It will even out and smooth out. That’s what I do after I’m done with my make up. I blend with my buffer. It does the trick. Gorgeous make up! The first red lipstick 💄 is a show stopper! I personally love that on you. You gave that one the main attraction!

Ugh… last night I pulled the trigger on the palette and now I wish I’d waited for your review! I have that Les Beiges palette and truly enjoy it. Now I wish I had bought something else! Also, I passed on the peachy blush and you totally made me want it. Might have to do a second order now! 😱😂 On the flip side, thank you for this outstanding review! Watching this back (in August) to see the baume swatches; and I love this sheer summer make up look!!! That deep mauve blush looked beautiful with the berry bullet lipstick, but the soft shimmery taupes and rosy lip is my go to ☺️. Amazing video Erin thank you!!

As someone who unfortunately can't wear nude lipstick - it just doesn't look good on my cool-toned skin, blue eyes, dark brown hair. Berry shades look best on me, so I'm so excited for the Berry shades in the La Comete Lipsticks!

Beautiful, thanks Erin for all your honesty and thorough reviews. I hope you find a way to make that blush work. I did pick up both blushes, excited to try them myself. I thought the palette was very similar to others I have, so I am glad I skipped it. I really appreciate your Chanel reviews because you're thorough and provide us pros and cons. I was personally hesitating on the eyeshadow palette. It certainly looks pretty but probably way too light on my skin. I also don't really like "topper" types of shadows to begin with so I don't know why I even considered it. Like you said, this palette is for the neutral lovers and many of us probably have similar shades. Thank you for your review of this collection!

You know, I legit missed your reviews over the break… then BAM, you’re back with the Chanel Spring collection! Your eye look is subtle but just glorious. Love the blushes. I’m sure you can make the deeper one work. I liked the tone on you. I asked the question on Instagram about the lip formula! Loving the look of the Balm. All, I bought one of their cosmic lipsticks 158. Gorgeous shade!! I have been wearing for a couple of hours and seems like it is nontransferable or wears off easily as other chanel lipsticks formulas. That’s a win !!

I would love to see what you think of the new Dior reformulation! I feel like every spring collection, all the Chanel color stories haven’t differed, so it’s nice they wanted to the change the eyeshadow, which is about it lol. The only thing I would like to try is the No.1 line and that’s it! It’s completely new and I’m very interested that they offered refillable choices for their new moisturizer, I hope they continue this direction for the rest of their skincare line! 🥰

Ordered the blush and eyeshadow I like the subtle colours and the warm tone of the blush I like the subtle colours for a daytime put together look I was surprised I was able to purchase in Australia Excellent
