I thought Channel 9 was a piss take of some sort of military dictatorship South/Central American country's tv channel controlled by the unelected head of state, El Presidente.

They completely hashed it with the numbers. 2 was Mixa, 10 was Matosis (to make a Myxamatosis joke) 5 was comically extended.

As good as Charlie Hinson is, he's not as good as Paul Shearer who originally was the other news presenter on Channel 9. He fitted the role much, much better and looked more foreign too.

The original is way better...Poutremos' hairstyle is so bad, worse than in 1994. Too bad there's no Gizmo, this Chanel 9 is 1 out of 5 while the original is 5 out of 5.
