I had no intention of trying this BB foundation until I realized I could get a mini...so I went with the agents suggestion of shade Beige which, of course, was too light! But I mixed it with a darker foundation and really liked how it looked so I reordered a new shade! I really wish all brands would offer mini sizes....didn't hurt as badly getting a wrong shade!
Thanks for doing the Chantecaille eyeshadow review. Have never tried this brand, but very tempted to try! I'm 69 and typically stay in the neutral lane. I like these colors since they don't look so muddy. I think I just talked myself into ordering 😊

Ugh! I really am drawn to the Chantecaille cheetah palette. The shades make it the perfect everyday choice for me. But, I’m doing my best to talk myself out of buying it! I really don’t need it. But….. For whatever reason Bobbi Brown foundations have never worked for me. It looks really pretty on you. I may see if I can get a sample. ❤️❤️❤️
Great video Rebecca! I picked up the Bobbi Brown foundation on launch day here a few days ago and have worn it every day since. I'm really impressed, looks extremely skin-like, blurring on pores, and long-wearing. The OG Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation was my very first foundation when I was 16 (14 years ago!) and I've loved their complexion products ever since. I will keep wearing and testing it out but it's a strong wedding foundation contender for me! Love the Chantecaille on you, I am seriously tempted but I also know Lisa Eldridge might be dropping new eyeshadow palettes soon so I might hold on for those. ✨
It’s so hard when you’re looking at something you want to get now and it’s limited edition but you’re kind of waiting to see what’s coming around the bend that will also sell out. It’s a weird kind of choice to be facing but it’s also a little bit fun!
Thank u for explaining the purpose of minimal spf in foundation! I wondered why the laughable spf numbers, but still doesn't explain why other brands can make w/o spf. I wish Chantecaille would offer palettes for tan/deep skin tones . I dont like building up on my mature skin. Is the "sparkly" eyeshadow more like "satin "?
Some brands use it as a filler, some brands don’t. Still other brands use it as a filler but don’t bother going through the certification so you’ll notice sunscreen like things in the ingredients as filler but they don’t claim it as SPF

The Cheetah packaging is gorgeous but I don’t need it. I think I can duplicate the colours with a half dozen palettes and twenty or so singles! I am kind of impressed by the Bobbi Brown foundation but I have too many foundations and skin tints on rotation! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on these.

The Bobbi Brown foundation looks lovely on you Rebecca !! I support Chantecaille and their charity, plus those are my colors of eye shadow so that will be one of my purchases eventually. I have almost all of their animal eye shadows from years past, and they're all great, nice neutrals. Have never tried their lipsticks however I'm a true Tom Ford lipstick lover and rarely step out of my comfort zone when it comes to lipsticks.
Hi Rebecca, I enjoyed your reviews of the Bobbi Brown and Chantecaille products. I've been waiting for the foundation launch since BB discontinued its previous longwear foundation and thankfully the US only had to wait one week following the offical launch in the UK. I've used almost every foundation BB has made and this looks to be the best formula yet. I will be purchasing it during Sephora's F&F sale. Your review heightens my eager excitement. I also love how sophisticated your look is with the Chantecaille products. Beautiful all around!
I bought the Chanticaille trio. I ordered from Chanticaille. I hope it doesn’t break. Lexi Jong got two, each with a broken shade. The foundation is nice too, but I just ordered the new Dior stick, so I’m going to wait awhile.
A slightly too light foundation is definitely better than a slightly too dark one (in my opinion). You can easily deepen a too light foundation with a bit of bronzer 💖
I bought the cheetah eye. I cannot wait to get it. I definitely will try the Bobby Brown once I am done with some others but very excited about it. Also, the lip color is stunning on you.
The foundation looked good on you, Rebecca. You know me, i like to apply my own SPF, i hate it when they put it in foundation, this one is a pass for me because you know what foundation I'm waiting for 😊

I got the Chantecaille eyeshadow and all 3 lips. The sparkle shade came broken 😢. I have to call Monday to have it replaced. It’s such a gorgeous everyday palette and all 3 lip veils are so pretty.
I came here interested in the eyeshadow (which IS very pretty), but I’m leaving interested in the foundation 😊. The foundation looks lovely on you…so natural. I may have to check it out. Thank you for the reviews and demos!
Oh I’m so glad. Sometimes I wonder about having to squeeze products in together because there’s so many new releases but it’s nice to know that sometimes it has a good little side effect

Oohh the Bobbi Brown foundation looked GREAT on you! I love, love, love the Chantecaille eyeshadow trio packaging. WOW!!! It’s adorable!! I don’t really need the shades. BUT…I want to get it just for the cute cheetah packaging. I really do. I will practice restraint, though. I got one of the sea turtle trios for the packaging, so I can’t do it again so soon ! 😂😂 I will say I liked the look you made a lot. I don’t know! Maybe I will get it! (My restraint may have lasted only a few minutes) Maybe I’ll go to Nordstrom to look at it in person. That way, if I do like it, at least it won’t be broken because I will have bought it in store!
That’s the truth. To get something broken really takes away from the experience. Even though everybody’s good about exchanges etc. it’s just ruins the fun

I started to get this. Then I was like have these 3 shades. But I deff would use it. Sometimes I do just want to grab something real quick. This is perfect Zoom/Teams makeup. Some days I am working from home and just throw on a simple quick look before a meeting. I do love their lip chics and lip veils. They are great lip products. If I had to pick one product form the brand deff the lip chics or veils.
That’s the thing. Do we want to lay out a bunch of pallets and Pickin shoes or do we want to just grab one. I admit that I’m a grab one person. And I know that I have to buy all these things for review anyway but even before I was buying things myself for a channel, I just want it in one spot
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I am a palette lover. But like you say the trends have gone to more simple looks. I find myself doing more simple looks too. I do still do more complex neutral shades. But not as much color as I did a few years ago. But I do a lot more online meetings and do I do more one and done kinda looks grabbing a mini ND palette a single/pot like the VBB or CT TF little pot shadows. I just bought 2 Nars shadow sticks and I LOVE them. One in the crease and a little sparkle on top. I think phases we all go through. But I’ve always been more is more person. Working from home so much shifted my habits. But still do it full blast when I go in to work lol. But yes I would use this now days for sure.

I am like they look just like Wayne bosses duos and the contour like ND duo. But I want that contour so bad! I’m wondering if the light one is too light and the darker one the highlighter will be too dark. I’ll be looking for reviews. I thought you may review. If not not worries. Just seemed like something that will get good views.

The new Bobbi Brown foundation wasn’t on my radar until this review, I will have to take a look at it. As for the Chantecaille, I do love their shadows, I find that they almost always look very flattering on my 57 yo, textured eyelids. I especially love the singles!

I had a feeling it was disappearing when i saw it discounted for a while on multiple websites, i think as high as 50%. I used the previous formula since it came out maybe in 2018 but i think they discontinued the reg skin foundation entirely too so this is replacing both?! Anyway i had an ulta coupon checking with bb chat and they said yes shades are comparable so i ordered Sand, nope lol I’m fair/light neutral leaning warm - yellow/olive and it was too light even on me, also the undertone was so off maybe peachy. i ended up getting a sample and checking in Nord and liked warm sand. My face is a bit lighter and more neutral than my body but i think it ended up balancing after all was on , though now of course sephora is oos 😂. I will say it wore the same as the prev for me even the coverage but the finish was a bit more satin and so much thinner in consistency
I think if someone wanted a fancy pallette they could use everyday then the chantecaille one looks nice. I am a bit hmm..about the two mattes but the look works and it makes sense.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty agree I think I got a light/medium and I applied with a sponge. You probably need like a denser brush to push the product in to get a full medium.
Hi lovely Rebecca 💝🫶 You got me inspired to try Bobbi Brown weightless foundation. Well, colour match that was a journey!! I'm B30 Chanel and here I got Natural 052 shade which finally works its miracles. It surprised me that out of the bottle this shade looked dark but on my face it literally melts into my skin looking very natural 👌🥰❣️ I'm also very impressed about your review of Chantecaille but I'd rather see this in person, it's pretty expensive and I don't want to risk to send it back and not get any refund😮 I would pair the Chantelle eyeshadows with Guerlain Rouge G lipstick satin rose brun💄❤️ Take care, Rebecca 💝 ❤️💄🩷🌺💚❤️😘
