*NEW* Charizard EX Premium Collection Box Review... UNREAL LUCK 

I started collecting cards again this year after about 15 years. Scarlet and Violet has been a lot of fun. Obsidian flames has been my favorite charizard set so far, currently trying to get the master set . Best of luck to everyone. Happy pulls!

It started as just a pack a day until we pull the Charizard SAR from 151. We tried to be patient, but decided to rip them all. Pokémon cards were absolutely huge in the late 90s. I was lucky if I was allowed to buy a pack every few months, and probably bought less than 10 packs in the entire few years I collected and traded as a kid. There was one card in those first few sets that was the card everyone wanted: Charizard. Since the new 151 set came out in the middle of last month, we began the hunt for the big Charizard card of the set. Too many packs later, we had finally decided to buy one last handful of packs to open with our kids after school and call it a day on 151. We had so much fun with the set, and pulled 99% of all 207 cards to complete the set, and this was genuinely our last opening. What the set is worth in monetary value is nothing compared to memories we’ve been able to build, and the gigantic nostalgia hit, 25 years in the making. In this hobby, there’s the phrase “last pack magic” that essentially means “there’s only one pack left, and we hope it has the card we want the most.” That moment finally happened. On the last pack, we got the one we were hoping for the most. 151 has to be my favorite Charizard, because it was finally the moment I've been waiting for since I was a kid, and I got to share that moment with my kids.

Nice video! My favourite would have to be Crown Zenith. We started collecting again after Silver Tempest was released. Crown Zenith was the first set we really started collecting from release day. Drove all over town to find ETB's and when we opened them I got the Radiant Charizard and was over the moon. Really brought back that nostalgia from Base Set back in the day :)

Of all the sets, it’s impossible to beat the nostalgia of the base set Charizard. However, my more creative answer would be the sleeping Charizard promo from the Charizard UPC! That card is so amazing and tells such a cool story with the Venusaur in the background. It makes you want to imagine what those two may have been up to…or what is about to happen between the two.

Like 90% of people, i kinda like a lot of different charizards, but i'll say my fauvorite is the delta species charizard from the ex crystal guardians. It's so cool to see an electric type charizard and the effect of having yellow, blue and red on the same card is so pleasing for the eyes. It seems like that charizard was taken from the anime. The set itself has some other very cool delta species card like the sceptile ex and the blastoise, and two gold star which are always so cool. Thanks for the video, hope to be able to get one of those in the future!

I'm only a couple years back into collecting, and Charizard has never been huge on my list, but I gotta say the Charizard line in 151 is making me a fan.

Sheeesh, 1st vid I see of you and you pull all this... My favourite charizard is still the base set one. Never forget i had that one as a child, but sold al my cards back then... now because of 151 back into collecting and the Charizard box will be my 1st charizard back in my collection!

My favorite Charizard card has to be Blaine’s Charizard from the Gym Challenge set. I absolutely love the black sparkle holographic background. I actually haven’t collected the cards in a very love time and picked back up collecting with the Scarlet and Violet era. It has been so much fun to collect the cards again with my husband. It’s brought us closer together. We pulled both an English and Japanese Charizard EX in the 151 set and were so excited. Thank you for your great content!

Favorite set has to be Brilliant Stars because it was a joy watching my daughter pull the alt Zare from the set. That was her first huge pull when the card was still around 200 and her facial expression was priceless.

My favorite Charizard has to be the iconic base set one , but I do also really appreciate the illustration art one in Brilliant Stars. That scene of it getting ready to fight Venusaur is just superbe.

The 20/189 VMAX (Prize Pack) is probably my fav digital art version, and for the old school artistic style, it's gotta be the Fire Red and Leaf Green EX. Also, I'm new to Pokemon and the RU-vid algo slapped your vid atop muh feed, which is really rad! I went to CAC (my first CON ever) In Charlotte last month for the Indie TCG'S I'm into, and I had no idea that the Pokemon scene was so vast and welcoming until then. Instantly subbed with that ridiculous RNG you got and the genuine reaction. I'm here for it.

Okay in response... My favorite charizard opportunity is without a doubt obsidian flames. I love how it looks like a gem or diamond- it emphasizes how amazing and beautiful it is!

For me I’d have to say the gold charizard promo from 25th anniversary it just hits the nail on the nostalgia. It’s the original artwork, it’s gold and it’s so well made it just looks perfect to me so perfect I had to get three 😂

My favorite set with a Charizard is probably 151 now, as that is the first master set I am trying te complete. I agree with you that the 151 set is why this box will be overlooked. My all time favorite set with a Charizard card is Skyridge for sure! The Crystal Charizard is just awesome 🔥

First edition base set Charizard is by far my favorite. As a kid I remember telling my uncle how bad I wanted one and he drove to the local card shop and actually dropped some serious money to get me one. I treasured that thing like gold. When I was 11 we moved states and it got lost in the move. I've never been able to afford to replace it but even 20 years later my love for that card hasn't gone away. I just started collecting again and would say that the UPC Charizard Vstar where he is fighting Mewtwo is a close second. I absolutely love that you can get him and also get the Mewtwo to see both perspectives of the fight. One of the cooler things Pokemon has ever done and I wish they would do it more.

I've just started collecting from scarlet violet era, so my favorite charizard has to be from the Obsidian Flame set! Very excited to see double charizard pulls in the vid !

My favorite is Brilliant Stars. The first VStar Charzard is an amazing looking card and then the rainbow version is even better!! My kids and I have made it our mission to pull every card from this set and build the perfect binder. We are really close too, only missing 13 cards. And of course, one of the cards we are missing is the alt. art Charzard. By far, our favorite charzard card. We just finished watching your video, and my son, Rexton and my daughter, Remi said they had a great idea! When we finish Brilliant Stars, we should get this box and put the Alt art charzard in it and put it with the family pictures on the mantle!! At first I laughed and this, but the more I thought about it, the more it actually made sense. For a very long time, we had been opening this set as a family, even my wife finally got involved, helping us open packs!! So this is why Brilliant Stars is the best set, not only does it have multiple charzards that are unique and amazing, but it has created a family memory for all of us and most importantly, one for my kids to share one day with theirs.

Being an 80’s kid I grew up in the WOTC era which has always been nostalgic to me! Growing up I admired the Arita artwork from base set! As such, being a big Arita artwork fan my all-time favorite Zardy boy HAS to come from Stormfront! I love the vibe and detail in that holo, as well as the colors. Now that my kids are collecting with me, of course they love the newer sets like 151 and OF. Stormfront will always do it for me though!

Base set charizard is definitely going to be a popular pick, but imo that Dark charizard from team rocket was so damn cool. I loved how they made the illustration for the card, just looking backwards like “you wanna mess with me?” 😂 I thought as a kid that it was so sick. That’s for the review! I’ll definitely try to grab a box if I can find one. 🤘🏽

Charizard SIR from 151 is my favourite, especially since you can put the evolution cards side by side and it tells the story of how Charmander grew up (plus the Charmander IR is my favourite of the whole set, he's adorable!)

I gotta say base set the nostalgia and memories from my childhood I won't never forget. I had a horrible childhood and up bringing, so I can never forget those memories, that's what made me return to Pokemon this past year after not being in the hobby for years, I missed the memories, smiles, and the nostalgia of those moments of opening packs getting something you've wanted again.

The Charizard set that is my favorite is the WOTC base set! That is where it all began for my grandsons and our family! Even though we took a break in our collecting, we are back stronger than ever!

My favorite vintage sets with Charizards was the Gym Challenge one with Blaine's Charizard or the Rocket set with Dark Charizard. I stopped collecting for several years though and recently got back into it and my favorite recent set for Charizard is actually Obsidian Flames! Though i have yet to get a Tera Charizard... I'm so excited to get one of these boxes so I can finally get one! 😅🤣

The Sun and Moon promos is where my favorite, clone charizard, comes from. Not many cards reference the movies so I'm happy they made those!

The Base Set Charizard and the Shadowless Base Set Charizard are the best and my favourite, as they were among the earliest printings and considered iconic. And a Zard card is always good for me !❤‍🔥

I would say my favorite Charizard comes from Champions Path. I got back into modern day collecting because of the rainbow zard in the set and I pulled it as well as the shiny zard from 5 dubwool boxes.

For me, it has to be base set or the evolutions reverse. But my daughter has been loving the chase for the 151 SIR. Haven’t pulled it yet, but we will continue to grind!

Favorite Charizard for me is for sure celebrations Charizard. It's when my son got really into Pokémon and got me into Pokémon with him. It's nice that it's a base Charizard reprint but still affordable enough that we can dream that we could still one day own one. We did pull the Blastoise.

Will have to go with base set going back to the nostalgia and pulling my first charizard from a pack that my friend gave me from wining one of the pokemon tournaments and me pulling that charizard. Bring back memories.

Best Charizard card for me has been shining fates zard shiny because I have pulled it twice. Loved that lol, also I remember how hard it was to find in stores forever ago it seems.

Pretty sure my favorite zard set is XY flashfire. It’s got so many different and cool zards that just frankly aren’t the case with other zard sets. Plus it has that real good XY vibe.

First two boxes were nuts. Personally, I’ve purchased a ton of Obsidian and we’ve yet to pull any of the Zards. My favorite is Flashfire because of the shear number of Zards. Plus the full art is one of the best of all time imo.

My favorite set has to be shining fates because it's the first Charizard my son pulled and gave him the thrill of chasing alts and rainbows. He has magic hands and we have yet to get any charizards from obsidian flames so this would be a great opportunity for us! Awesome 1st box pulls too 🎉

I think I'd have to go with Vstar universe for the favorite charizard. I REALLY love that curled up charizard. (I know technically it's a promo in the Charizard upc) But for real, it's such a cool card. Usually you only see charizard being a beast in some form, fighting or something like the other one in the same set with Mewtwo (ALSO love it)... this one shows him resting and it's super unique. I also like cards with stories, so *chefs kiss* it's perfect! Vstar universe is just amazing.

I mean it’s hard not to say 151 but I’ll throw a curveball and go shining fates is my favorite. That was the first set I was just straight charizard hunting, I bought 10 etb’s and got him on my 98th pack so its a little sentimental. Since I had half the set after that I put it together and realized I really liked the shinys and the set as a whole looks really good so thats my fave. I think you nailed why they are under msrp too.

Hidden Fates got me back into Pokémon. When I saw the shiny Charizard GX full art, got myself, three of my buddies and their sons all into Pokémon. Now we are playing at locals and about to plan our first Regionals.

My favorite set is Hidden Fates. That was the first true set dedicated to shinies. As a life long shiny hunter since Crystal version, seeing shinines on card is just 🧑‍🍳 💋

The promo Charizard Vmax from the Charizard UPC is one of the coolest cards I’ve seen. Not technically a set but still one of the best zards I’ve ever seen. Gives me Godzilla/ kaiju vibes. Great luck here!

i think my favourite set with the Zard would be 2, i love Base set and Rocket . why cause i was there when it started and going after those Zards was soo cool back in the day. and that artwork of the Dark charizard . a beauty. i was a little kid than and going with your dad to the card store buying a pack best memories ever
