New Cheap Acura Integra FWD Project Car? 

When I heard y’all were gonna strip and scrap my heart broke, especially with how nice the rear and side exterior looked. However once I saw the front damage, and the interior damage and abuse the previous owner put it through I understood your decision.

I wish Honda would bring back its passion from the 90's

The Integra is arguably the best low budget Honda product you can buy. Why not just build up a nice Integra? Would have loved to see that :(

definitely an ek with a k swap since it fits nicer with a eg/dc2 subframe and the rack from the 98+ teg is shorter ratio and the disk brake conversion all around is a plus ...the teg seats are much nicer than EK seats as well lol

This DC2 even though is not a type R is the best platform for FWD. Civics may be lighter and faster for drag. But DC2 is really the better all rounder.

Yay Hondas! They're quick to work on, quick to drive and quick to steal. Had my Integra stolen twice in 1 month and I still bother working on it. FML.

I paid $300 for my Integra. Best part is that I bought it at 15 years. But the real best part was that I got it with a turbo already in it. 333,000 miles still works.

Bro i paid 800 for my modded 98 integra gsr, i was so thrilled, paint was flawless aside from some scrapes on the bumper from bottoming out. It didnt start when i bought it, but it was just a fuse

The integra is a solid platform, mostly due to the quicker steering ratio.

I just picked up a 1998 Civic ex 5 speed from Texas in excellent shape for $200! Everything was perfect except the car lost a timing belt so at worst I am replacing the head.

92-95 EG civic. They share the same suspension pickup points as the DC integra. Cheap 4 wheel disc brake upgrade. Also, easier way to move that chassis would have been to put logs or round fence posts perpendicularly under the 2x4's under the car. Then you could have pushed it by hand. Move it Egyptian style! I've actually done it with a DC chassis before.

Did this once at a buddy's house with limited tools we used tarps for walls which we soon realized had to buy plywood and foam boards to Insulate the project area space heaters galore it took a yr to remove mod and replace the motor it sucked I'll never do it agin like that Jack daniels was my best friend froze my butt off In the winter summer wasnt to bad Seattle dosnet get that hot.

That integra has a JDM SiR-G steering wheel and GSR leather seats btw seats worth about $100 and wheel is worth about $100 also

DC2 is a honda car referring as the honda model for the acura integra, and the honda dc5 is the honda model of the rsx

I know you guys have already done stuff with the FRS but I'd love to see a video of a track built FRS for daily driving with RR racing front and rear bbk and other parts made to be good for a daily but also on track

would have been dope if they bought a '96 b14 SE-R and performed a sr20ve vvl swap with itb's from a gti'r sr20det, and sr16ve cams. but a k swapped or j35 integra is always cool too.

I say keep it old school and get a b18c either blown or for cheap, stroke that baby to like a 85x92 mm setup. ITR Trans. It would be a monster for the track.

K swap EK. They showed off the K in another video, and you need (well don't really but it works better) a DC2 or EG subframe for a K swap.

Either an EG hatch...OR, a DB8 (4 door DC2) or maybe you're gonna make my year and build an MB4 Domani with DC2 bits (including what I believe is a B18C6)?.. Got a UKDM MB4 Civic that I'm doing roughly the same to (same hubs, probably a B20B with B16A2 head in the works) if you want a look. :)

Looks like you'll be doing an EK build but which one? Coupe, hatch or four door. I hope you build it on par with the s2k and the FRS so you can do a challenge against the three. keep the videos coming love all the things you guys are doing. BTW Ken needs some more videos too
