We have received a lot of comments on our video explaining some of the features for the new driver information center (DIC) display. About how to change the screen to display the speedometer.
So in this video we will show you how to change the screen settings to display the different options available.

Hello, Up by the top of the dashboard there is suppose to be a small box that would show what the current speed for that area. Whenever the speed limit will change the numbers in that box will be updated. How do I get that app or program onto my dashboard so I can be ready for the speed of that area changes? Thank you.

"This" was driving me nuts....I would get to the "speed" screen and forget how I got there...and it is easy to hit the checked box for "off". ...well done....

Is there a certain trim these are on or from which year models? I was looking at some other videos which showed this on a 2022 Silverados but in car listings online for them I only saw the normal physical clusters. Thank you.

Is there an option to display which gear the truck is currently in? My other vehicles show gear changes live as the truck shifts. Just curious if that is an option that needs to be turned on or is displayed on a different screen orientation? Thanks!

Thanks for the info. My issue is with technology nowadays. Why don't they have the features to change colors ? Nothing against blue but some other options would be nice.

I go to info page options but it’s not the big envelope like you have. I go to speed and check it off and it still doesn’t move to center

I have mine in “Clean” mode so the speed displays lower. Now the speed is no longer showing. It is checked. Any suggestions?

Hey man I just bought a 2022 Chevy z71 my mpg shows 9-10 should I get that checked shouldn’t it be a little better?

It is going to depend on a lot of factors. If you are in the northern part of the country, and use remote start that brings it down, winter mix gasoline also gets worse mpg. On top of that if u are in a busy city that will hurt it. After your first oil change see if it improves otherwise you may want to have it looked at to see if there is something drawing extra use

Is there a way to turn off the white square where the speed limit is supposed to be shown? Mine is blank but it drives me nuts that it still shows on my screen. I don’t have on star if that matters?

Be nice is GM releases a software update to allow us to swap the tach and Speedo back to how they’re suppose to be Super annoying to have speedo on left side… Tach should be on left, Speedo on right. Hopefully GM will listen? Laughable

Sorry on delay, to my knowledge you cannot exchange them, as one that doesn't have the digital screen will not have the right software in the computer to support it

My understanding is we have to buy the minimum Onstar plan. Mine quit showing the day my 1 month plan expired.

my two cents...I believe you have to have the chevy subscription ...not sure which exact one that then shows "posted speed"...navigation maybe? If you have that, not sure. (we use Waze when traveling and it shows posted speed on the big screen)

Yes the screen was accurate for that amount of miles driven on that vehicle

You may have accidentally hit the arrow up or down on the steering wheel. You just need to press those arrow buttons until you get back to the speedometer
