I have tried studying the circle of fifths before and it has never stuck. You are the first teacher that has helped me really understand it. Thank you for posting these lessons on RU-vid!
Thanks Karen! I've learned a bunch from you, and your clarity of explanation is the best. Hot tip for finding the minor chords: they're all in the same position as the major chords inside the relative minor circle.

You have no idea how thankful I am! You are making history! I have spent so many years in music and never have I ran across such a comprehensive system. I agree and like it more than the circle of fifths. I have always used my ear to lead me into the next chord but always wondering why, how does it all work. And now watching all your videos for the past 2 days have brought all this knowledge that I have, together in such a beautiful way. I have dabbled with the piano for 21 years and now for a year and a half I've been playing Bass and Guitar, and the Guitar plus these videos have brought my musicianship to another level. You are an amazing person for sharing your knowledge in such an inspiring way. I can tell that you're passionate about it and I love that, because I know a lot of people that are missing that much passion for music and it's sad haha... Anyway I also wanted to let you know that even tho you have not specifically explained this directly in any of the videos that I have seen so far, I still and finally! for the 1st time in my life! I understand the theory behind the relative minors, why they are there and why they exist and why everyone talks about them and etc... and etc... so thank you so much for that, and everything else in your teachings. Great stuff as usual Karen, I am really looking forward to your videos on playing music with an electronic keyboard. Indeed there are already numerous videos on the subject on RU-vid, but unfortunately there are many commercial videos advertising one or other brand of keyboards, and also many nonprofessional videos which are lacking of focus. So I am sure your forthcoming videos will be filling up a gap for those who want to play electronic keyboard and have fun at it.
