I'm 70 years young here in the UK and I love to change my scheme each year if possible. Of course being a pensioner budget comes into consideration but by starting as soon as Christmas arrives in stores then I start buying early which helps. I love Christmas and always have done . This year my biggest item is definitely going to be a new tree with the lights already attached as I find that the worse job .
Not having a tree with lights already attached IS the worst job! 😂 I can attest to having a new tree that you can turn on and off with a tree or light (outlet) remote. It’s life changing!

Hello! I too am planning ahead for this year's Christmas as I am in a new home, I put up many trees and decor. I also watch Ramon At Home on You Tube. I like to change each tree's theme up each year. An easy way to do that is with picks and ribbons. I will be incorporating your cute idea with the lights under the "snow" on the tv stand. Can't wait to find some new Christmas shops down here in Florida!
I enjoy your videos. It's fun to watch Christmas in July. I'm all for buying just a few new pieces every year but always using what I already have and getting rid of pieces I realize I should never have bought. Like signs that say things on them and gnomes. I love all your trees. I think your bedroom would look so pretty with touches of red instead of black.
You can always change it up a bit by adding some burgundy or black or even both with your pink. Pink looks great with just about every color. I've used browns with my pink and this year I'm going to add a really light green with my pink tree in my bedroom. Yes, do red and white in your bedroom and add the black to your pink tree but don't use the white with it. Maybe add some cute little pink bows to the black and white candy canes and it would be super cute.
I loved this video lizzy ,I’m going start making plans but not decorating yet because I do fall and Halloween and I keep fall decor back for thanksgiving and then I’ll decorate for Christmas after thanksgiving, I can’t wait to see your pink 💕Christmas trees 🌲 in the living room.

Hey, Lizzie! As always love watching your holiday decorating videos. Something to keep in mind; Every year I say that I’m not going to buy any more items as I already have too much. And every year I end up buying a ton more. Then I get buyers remorse b/c I spent too much, or I don’t have anywhere to put the items, or store the items either. It’s a vicious cycle. Best way for me to avoid it is to stay out of the stores completely. Maybe it would help to set yourself a budget or a goal of “only five new things for each holiday”. That way (depending on the size) you could be sure that you have somewhere to store them. For me I have to be very strict with myself so I don’t end up going crazy later. It’s a lot of work to haul it all out and then haul it all back later. Even though I’ve got a large home and the space, I just can’t decorate every room again like I’ve done the past few years. Not only is it not in the budget this year to buy new items, but It took me weeks to put everything up, and I never put the items away after the holidays were over. I just stuck them in a huge pile in a corner of my home. Life happened, I got busy, and they just stayed there. I still have items to put away in the attic sitting in my kids game room from last year (even now😂). So now I’ve got to limit myself to one shelf in the kitchen, and the living and dining room down stairs. I’m also trying to be much more careful and selective about the quality of items I purchase. I love traditional and classic. So I’ve really tried to stick with items that match what I’ve already got, and quality items that I for sure have a spot for. Everything else cheap, tacky, and overdone is going. I also enjoy having just a few things that I’ve kept since my kids were little as “tradition” to put out. It’s good to start new transitions. These scaled back methods seem to really help me. Perhaps really being intentional and careful will help you as well as you plan for this year? It’s easy to fall into the RU-vid trap of checking out what everyone else is doing and copying the same trends year to year. Let’s be rebels! Stick with what you like, what makes you happy and gives you joy in your home, and get rid of or avoid the rest.

I am crazy for Christmas. As soon as I began to take my decorations down I started thinking about changes I want to make for this Christmas. I to like the red and white idea for your bedroom, however have you considered keeping with the soft pink theme you have in your living room flow into your bedroom with a soft blue and white or blue with silver or gold?
I have a white tree and I'm decorating it in black and white striped ornaments some will be harlequin also and my accent is going to be soft pink ornaments. I'm also putting plain black reindeers in the tree along with wall hangings that say Merry Christmas in white on a black background.
Trees on both sides of the couch would be beautiful. I also loved the two on the sides of the TV last year. I think a beautiful couch pillow with blush in it would be gorgeous and compliment the decor. Touches of blush on cabinet below the TV would be so pretty with the decor you had there. Last year you mentioned flocked garland above kitchen cabinets. That would be beautiful with your winter wonderland. Black in the bedroom was gorgeous. The red would be as well. A lantern on the deck would be pretty.

Yes!! My birthday is in July this past week and it’s Christmas in July to me. It will be my first Christmas. I lost my mom very young and most of my family so I never had the joy of experiencing Christmas because my father was abusive and we lost her to it. A few of my siblings passed and family and I want to experience Christmas with a few good friends of mine. Now that I’m in a colder state where it’s actually going to be Christmas because Texas wasn’t cutting it 😐I will be celebrating Christmas until New Years 😊
Happy belated birthday!! I am sorry to hear about your past experiences but I hope this year you get to enjoy the joy of Christmas and being around those that love you!! and make so many memories!
I love all your Christmas decor. I think your black and white bedroom theme was so pretty and maybe you could keep it this year and add pops of red ... in particular, maybe some red bows to the tree.
