Your video has completely made a mess of my 40k purchase plans, those models look great. I dont know anything on age of sigmar, I have to start all over again. I hope you are happy with yourself. Have a good day.
Honestly, with the amount of work you needed to do to get out of the armor at the end there, I would have just accepted my fate and lived in it forever.
I really love this range of models. I feel like it adds in a lot of flavour that was stripped away when Warhammer Fantasy switched to AoS. The Cavalier-Marshal on horseback is absolutely stunning and my favourite of the bunch.
Most of my Collection is old fantasy miniatures on round bases and adapted for the Mortal Realms. My heart is forever capched by this simple but brilliant idea. It's sad that GW abandoned it. But not me! I now have a huge work to redo many of my models. For example, I have 6 dwarven artillery crew, now I need to find 3 great cannons somewhere.
Пушки заряжаемые с дульной части стреляли по баллистической траектории - значит ствол должен быть немного приподнят вверх для правдоподобия. И заряжаемые с казённой части тоже приподнимали вверх для стрельбы по удалённым целям.
Another great video, really enjoy the aesthetic of the Cities troops. Would be great if they could be used for Empire troops as well in the Old World. Shiny armour, you may need a squire to assist tho...
Nice work very informative I miss the old Warhammer my Go Bo’s need somebody to fight if you’re ever in a Jost competition let me know I’d be glad to be your squire
@@swordnsteele712 speaking of the armor, it honestly looks as it's two or three inches too tight around your chest and waist area as metal armors like that should not restrict breathing at all, and they aditionally should be fitted to accomodate a padded jacket or arming doublet underneath 😊 For costume/cosplay purposes however, it looks great on you 😉
А названия у городов Сигмара будут? Или просто "город Сигмара номер такой-то"? 🤓 должны быть названия и бонусы для защитников каждого города (или разных типов войск).
Wow this is great, my favourite lineup of new models in years. They can keep the dogthing though, it's hideous. So what is this, is it part of empire or something new entirely? I never got into AoS when they tossed away Fantasy, so I haven't got a clue.
Everything in Age of Sigmar is completely new, you won't find the Empire, Bretonnia, Cathay or the like. To my great joy, all this is in the past so distant that even the gods have forgotten the old world. The Cities of Sigmar are powerful fortresses of civilization in magical worlds 90% captured by Chaos. They lead crusades in an attempt to reconquer lands and establish new settlements.
@@Basil_Ghothickovitch that's simply not true. While the models themselves are new, the factions are pretty much mashed up and evolved versions of their Old World orgins.
As an artillery aprecciator and former heavy mortar operator, I see a HUGE problem with that first shown cannon and I'd never want to crew it as designed because of it. Namely: The gun shield affixed to a gun carriage without any kind of recoil management system to allow the gun to recoil fully without moving the carriage. This piece, as modeled, would recoil in it's entirety with it's carriage in the same way as IRL pre 20th century pieces, jumping at least 6-10meters back from it's firing position with each shot, bringing that useless monstrosity of a gun shield with it to promptly pulp the crew that the model designers probably imagine the shield should protect...💀 I might build a realistically gruesome diorama with it if I got the model as a gift😂
The fact is that Warhammer does not take place on Earth, not in our universe. Not even on the planet! By definition, we do not and cannot know the physical laws of the Mortal Realms. If there are entire islands and continents floating in the air, then why can’t the cannon not roll away? On the contrary, everything is done to be different from the “real” world.
@@Basil_Ghothickovitch really? That's the most lazy bs argument you could ever make and you still ran with it? How about *internal consistency* and btw, I've been playing warhammer fantasy since 1998...
I like the armor, but not very realistic. Historic documents show (old issues of fantasy magazines and books, ok mostly Heavy Metal if I'm honest) that most women went into armed combat in basically metal bikinis 😂
