Zombies are super underrated in goat. Vampire Lord can be such a threat with all the destruction based removal about, they've got their own Monster Reborn and turtle is an amazing recruiter
And the revival banishes from the enemy, which is crucial in shutting down a lot of stuff. Get their serpent in the grave with reaper, book and snake goes bye bye.
With the Chaos infested meta I think Zombies are a good anti-meta option. Kokki outs all the chaos monsters, Book of Life can keep them dead in hand. If you want to cater against Tdragon Chaos, main deck Mystic Swordsman Lv2, three Trap Dustshoot and as the real spice, to plus off of their Card Destruction plays, Regenerating Mummy (also Kycoo propably). If you want to beat the Warrior Aggro decks, main deck Skill Drain, Judgment and Bottomless. You obviously have to keep up with the meta game, but Zombies can outaggro all the aggro decks and tech out vs. Chaos in an impressive way.
This is like the modern updated Eric wu zombie list - sneak attack ver. Faith's are ok because you know they play noc so you either have to account for them by either sacrificing a searcher, a bluff/bait, or rush and end the game quick before the opponent can combo into the noc (book, tsuk) or you are forced on your back foot and are forced to set. The other thing I learned by playing wu's list is that you sometimes want them to noc faith because the alternative of dealing with a tsuk lock is far worse. With no Faith's in play the game becomes a test to see who can use their cards optimally and not who gets to abuse power cards more. Not playing bls means loosing your light ratio won't matter. J&t could you ask them to rate their lists. Maybe once as it relates to itself (so here out of all zombie decks) and then a second rating for how it stands vs all decks? Jealous of your locals. Raust gave high praise. Thanks for the vid and take care.
Dingosig's deck, from puré theory, Wins by controlling the highest attack monster. Half of the deck is monster 'control' cards and the other half are staples and combo cards. Seems ver y defensive because of the low base monster attack and the high number of traps. Imo
Yeah. I like that it has no side. Means to me that it's a zombie deck trying to solve zombie problems and not a how can I win and then throw some zombies in the end.
Cool deck, love zombies in Goat. One card I would suggest for this deck is Regenerating Mummy. It Duo proofs your hand and is an 1800/1500 beater. I also personally run Skill Drain although it is situational and mostly just good against meta decks.
I've not tested the mummy but I think I prefer higher big zombie count with life books over mummy. Sinister might not be enough duo protection but it's something. Plus the synergy with his other discard cards might outweigh mummy. But I do think you aren't wrong about mummy with drain.
