Personally, I've never been to Clearwater, but everything I've heard about it is people are 100x nicer.

Thanks for watching! That Belleair video will be mentioned in a video next week. It is one of my favorite small areas! The edges of Belleair where it touches Clearwater and Largo are really similar and have access to al the same stuff.

It will be the best decision of your life. I moved to Clearwater from Minneapolis, 4 years ago. I don’t know if I’ll stay in Clearwater area for too long but I’ll never go back up north. I prefer St. Petersburg over Tampa, and pinellas county over hillsborough county. Mainly because they are closer to the beaches. I take my kids to the beach 2-3 times a week. Definitely wouldn’t do that if I was coming from Tampa. Traffic is horrible in the entire area. So I would recommend living close to the things you want to do or living close to your job. When my kids get a little older, we will probably be looking at Sarasota/Lakewood ranch area. The schools in the Tampa area aren’t the best, according to many parents I’ve spoken with.

@@samfolkestad1726 I am so excited for the move. My kids can’t wait. I appreciate the info. The plan is to live in a suburb of Tampa. I’ve been looking north of Tampa in like New Port Riche, Tarpon Springs, Holiday, etc. Are those areas safe? I’m a retired police officer and I don’t want to move to another city like Detroit..lol..I’m going to keep looking in the surrounding cities of Tampa/St. Petes.. Thank you
