When CW sent out those surveys regarding the next coaster... a vast majority of respondents said no to the wing coaster. I like to think the people manifested AlpineFury
I got to be objective in my analysis here, with the slight caveat that I don't do waterparks. Kings Island's new watercoaster won't interest me, but it will pull guests to the waterpark rather than the dry park, so a win there for those of us who want more dry ride time. KD's Rapterra looks fun, but it looks fairly forceless and without near miss elements on it, I will reserve judgement. I am sure I will like it regardless but not something that is likely to blow me away. CW has the most interesting addition, but GOOD LUCK riding it on a busy day. CW gets packed even more than Cedar Point, and a 9 row, 18 person per train coaster with 2 train ops just does not work for that park. It will be like waiting for Maverick, and this has no midcourse or duel loading station.
What about Cedar Point? They announced that they will be closing Snake River Falls after this season! I think it would be a great spot for a new awesome coaster!! What do you guys think?
Stating the obvious don't make you a hater..B&M rides are rough and they rattle. Iron Menace just open yet it sounds and feels like it's 10yrs old,Valravn's 2nd dive has a wicked vibration at the bottom pullout...Gatekeeper rattles like a mofo..Fury has 1 train that will shake the crap out of you in the back on right side.Many of us are sick of Cedar Fair and their BM obsession.
Send one to Knotts Berry Farm, we need and deserve one more than anyone else, #1 park in attendance, #1 most forgotten and overlooked in relation to its stature.
The repeated & continuous #1 park in the Cedar Fair & Six Flags portfolio, Knotts Berry Farm, didn't have ANYTHING to announce. Another year, another disappointment. Just so everyone on the east coat knows, the feeling over here in SoCal at Knotts, has always been and is one of jealousy, envy, and contempt. ...and it's been growing. It feels like to us that our park funds ALL of your big rides, while we continually get the SHORT end of the stick. Folks & fans over here have been extremely frustrated, year over year. This is NOT what it's supposed to feel like to be #1. No new rides, no new water slides, just the cheap stuff, more food items, and small low capacity coasters. HORRIBLE parking, no mention of a much needed parking structure, atrocious front gate experience thats cramped & feels like you're waiting in line for the end of the world. And don't get me started on that 15+ year long Giga rumor, what a joke. Sucks being #1 in attendance, 6 million guest per year (4 million new, 2 million repeat annual pass visits). @@AOmega72 No they aren't. Knotts does about 6 M/yr. Cedar Fair in a conf call a few years back stated that. Basic analysis puts Knotts way over 4M, your claim he's off by 2M. Cedar Fair reported attendance of 1.3M in Q1 2024. They stated on the conf call about 85% of that was Knotts, that means about 1.1M attendance. They pulled about 1.1M attendance in Q1, not even close to their busiest quarter. In their busy quarters they are pulling 1.8 or 1.9M, which gets them full year to about 6M
@@grobble8954 Youre basing that number off of 1 quarter google park atttendance and youll find that CW has been and is the most attended seasonal park in North America every enthusiast channel knows this so youre talking out of your ass
