Yeah. This new Silver always seems to have a contingency. This means he has a plan for getting out of prison and back into Cobra Kai in time for the tournament.

You can say that again. If Silver and Kreese fight, the only way Kreese wins is if Silver is sick, which might explain why he was at the hospital.

Maybe it will be like on Spider-Man 3 when Peter shows up at Harry’s house and beats the shit out of him. Kreese, who is on the run, may just pay silver a visit to settle the score.

@@radicalreactions1633 Bribery is still a crime no matter what you bribe someone into doing. In California law, bribery gets you up to 4 years in jail or prison (I googled it). There's also child abuse since he forced Tory to mess up her hand against solid stone, and X-ray scans can also be used as evidence.

It would've explained why he was reluctant to help Kreese again in his revenge scheme against Daniel and Johnny. Now, yes Silver did mentioned that he thought his attitude and actions during KK3 was insane, to say the least, but this fills in the gaps that s4 was missing.

I was thinking the same thing but then I realized that Silver was always getting sued and indicted so my guess is that it caught up to him especially after they lost the Tournament to Daniel marking the beginning of his decline but then Silver got back up through other means.

He probably got government penalties placed on him after the toxic disposal in Borneo.

Some scenes are good but just doesn’t fit in the screen or it doesn’t really work that well but this deleted scene I think they should have kept

Yeah karate kid 3 silver was way over the top and I loved it 🤣 and i think the reason he didn’t bribe the raft in karate kid 3 is, because he had no doubt in his mind that he would lose I think in season 4 he learn from his mistakes and decided to go The safest route or out to guarantee win

And, I guarantee you, if Mike Barnes didn’t intentionally drag that fight out, he would have had LaRusso down for the count in a matter of minutes - Daniel literally had no answer for him.

Seeing Chozen interact with Tory was sweet since I always viewed Tory as a female version of young Chozen - and I like to think Chozen saw a bit of himself in her. I never in a million years thought Mike Barnes would be owning a furniture store. If anything, I initially thought they would take the villain route with him - unlike Johnny and Chozen (who had some sense of honor), Barnes was presented as a character that was averse to morals and ethics. While I initially skeptical about Barnes being a good guy, I would say it actually worked out perfectly. Looking back in mature reflection, I now understand that Mike Barnes probably wasn’t such a bad guy underneath it all. (I tend to imagine that something happened to him, during his childhood, that turned him into the vicious brute we saw on display in KKIII - which makes me kind of wish we got a flashback of young Mike Barnes.) Overall, I definitely think watching all of Daniel’s former rivals work together for the good of the valley was one of the highlights of S5.

There are many who believe Silver DID bribe the ref, given all the things Mike Barnes did in their match and did not get disqualified for them. It was just Daniel made an undeniable point in OT.

@@manuellim6284 That's what I can't decide as far as Silver's final fate at the end of S6. Will he wind up dead, incarcerated or committed to a mental hospital? Kreese will die in S6 (they're clearly setting up a redemption for him, but he's been a villain too long to get to head off into the sunset), but not before the two former besties fight it out one more time.
