Wait, you didn’t touch spiral of destinies(I can tell by level 5 knowledge)? You missed out 50% if not more of the game. Don’t judge game play too early. Also remember spiral of destiny have an event and give you a lot of reward. You only see it after you start doing spiral of destiny.

This game probably is the most comfortable gacha game I've ever play because the classic jrpg atmosphere is strong in this one. Remind me of FFT n tactic ogre from my childhood. Also volks I think making a video about skill priority for decent epic n lower tier units is going to be appreciated since they r actually useful.

Thanks for the transparency. As a F2P I've gone pretty far (7-4 TOC) with my terrible pull rate (1.76%). And when I need advice when I'm stuck, it's nice to watch a RU-vidr that uses units I might have.
WeII I agree, pIaying ChinaGacha formuIa(Genshin/HSR) is Iike picking 4 units and months to buiId those character. WhiIe JapanGacha formuIa, and SoC eventho it came from China but they foIIow JapanGacha formuIa, where we can buiId them units easiIy for starters and ofcourse having few equips need to be farm for endgame.. and overaII they dont push these "chore" things in order for us to spend more in the game.. Genshin/HSR did that just to force pIayers to pIay 24/7, whiIe SoC didnt need a system to force us, they just make an accesible great gameplay which made their players pIay the game without having theDevs create something to force us. And ofcourse we need the update for Materrial Conversion QoL.
I agree with everything but the 24 hours. In fact SoC is much more time invasive. The dailies take forever, even more so if you try and get all the energy Unlike in honkai star rail, where its a few minutes at most, and ZZZ, where you can literally finish your dailies in under 1-2 minutes.
@battIecubes the 24h is just a figure of speech.. sure dailies took longer, but Im taIking about overall, therefor it isnt just daiIies, but aIso incIudes building units pIus the main quest where we were Iocked in 30mins story just for 60jade rewards, reaIIy? onIy 60jade for 30mins being Iocked IoI. They aIso intentionally didnt cut the stories into more pieces because they want to give us Iess Jade, thats why its was 30mins Iong with onIy 60jade reward, it was aII pIanned to not being generous so we wouId spend more IoI, its ChinaGacha formula(Genshin/HSR). Sure we can do dailies in just 5mins, but the other 30mins we'll be spend on TraiIbIazeStamina faming Relics/Traces, pIus since its ChinaGacha, the RNG of Genshin/HSR reIics is aIso horrendous, and why, well it goes back to my point, they wanna force pIayers to pIay 24/7.
I saw a few content creators talking about it and I thought it would be cool, like making tournaments in the community since you can challenge people, I saw a pick ban system I think, and they were talking about making it SR units and lower only, but that would be up to the person making the tournament ofc
I would love a tournament of SR units and bellow, they're AWESOME designed units, but man If you're not spending, i don't see the point in PvP on P2W gacha games
After a week, I can say that the game is really amazing! I just don’t like that we can’t change the direction the character looks at the end of the turn (kinda ruins the point of DEF up depending on attack position) and we can’t select the route the character will make when moving (this is minor, but a bit annoying because of scorch or other ground effects). Have you ever heard anything about why these things are not available? Thanks for the great content!
Biggest gripe is you can’t see what kind of buffs or debuffs your units have unless it’s like life loss or ignite. Idk… if my units are buffed why can’t I get a tiny blue arrow? Or a tiny downwards red arrow for debuffs. And you can “drag” characters but idk why it doesn’t follow the path I drag it to. Think it only shows maximum tiles available to move instead of maximum movement tiles available for each character. As a FE player I never had a problem of “facing” certain direction but I wish they even just had a system where if you end your turn next to a unit it would automatically face them towards closest adjacent enemy so back stab and sides still work during your own turn. AND OH MY GOD STOP MAKING MY COL USE MASK WHEN ITS NOT DEBUFFED AND 100% HP. Maitha I can understand because of the buff that comes along with the cheese, but it’s so aggravating to see col standby while moving and when she gets next to someone she just turns into a cat. Like wtf

I will admit I used a Castella on Stormbreaker, because her Instant charge procs her free swing after hitting stuff. I also gave her emperor tarot, so she harms healthy units more. So the idea is find a good spot, rush proc passive, big swing, proc passive again and hopefully that is enough to eat up someone to get more extra swings. She's my favorite unit by far. Might run Lash/Lightning/Suppression for just aoe nuking potential, soften up groups then wipe with Stormbreaker. Once I figure out their speeds I'll swap some of them to Sun tarot to harm injured units more, Lash has Aoe Tarot, maybe one to harm shielded units more once I get the order down neatly.
Hi! I'm not sure if you now, but we get a lot of convertable materials that can be converted to either weapon ascension materials or talent materials, so farming those two can be a big mistake and prioritizing weapon level and tarot whispers level would be the best choice you can make in my opinion! You can check the amount on the battlepass/cornucopia itself, the convertable material is called primordial dust!
I've really enjoyed the game so far, reminds me of classic Final Fantasy Tactics both in story and playstyle. Without the super annoying 'Oh, the enemies are based on your level....level up too much too early and nothing but bad times ahead. Here, have a field full of Red Chocobo. DEATH!' I don't even mind the gacha so far ( though I've been lucky I feel; Gloria, Samantha, Col, Nurgal, Beryl... several of the Elite's you've mentioned as good too ) I haven't felt like I HAVE to spend cash, though I probably will drop a few dollars here and there.
If you just shove all of your furniture in that room and you can place 3 characters in the house it raises their affinity levels automatically and they gain stat boosts for doing so.
Games pretty fun. There's actually so much to do in terms of grinding stages and tower etc, that I haven't touched much of the story mode, which kinda sucks because that was my main draw to the game. I really wanted another FF Tactics game to come out and this is the closest to it.
I can’t imagine running two accounts so get your creator rewards and keep the videos coming. For each game I play I usually stick with one go to creator for my info, and you are it for me and this game.
I agree with your video and playing characters as f2p because you can definetely do it in this game. That's just how the game is. Though, it is true that you can complete the game with best characters with good gear, the challenge here is to use units that are unique. It's like an achievement. There are discord groups who post this kinda of challenges and it is fun to see their videos. Like the recent one, the all spear man challenge. Love how they utilized their skills.

one thing i find really weird is event related. i really don't know why we don't get free wish coupons for the Verdure Delight event. like.. the game just launched, but we can't even earn them through quests or simply playing the game and doing our daily stuff. it would have been such a nice little extra, but them locking this behind Luxites makes me feel like ultimately, they're pretty stingy and not really f2p friendly. so yeah, will have to wait and see if i like that in the long run or not.
So, the F2P is stronger in this game, more so than most. For example, the "Fated Summons" banner that guarantees you a Legendary in 30 pulls, not only can it also be the main banner character, but you're guaranteed a legendary, VERY few gachas grant you a strong character, especially main banner, on the short timed - beginner banner, as well as on top of it, offers a exchange system for when you've gotten too many memory shards of characters you already have maximum copies of, you can convert that to currency and get a 1 time pick your legendary. None of the mainstream gachas are doing that combo, on top of the extra pulls they are giving away with their new event. Something else, the other mainstreams are not doing. They've already handed out more free pulls from their event already than most do yearly. And games as large as say, the most famous, Genshin, yearly anniversary doesn't even give 10 pulls and will likely have crushed SoC's playerbase numbers. So yeah, it's definitely F2P friendly, if not THE most F2P friendliest gacha there is.
So you want they put everything for free? That is a only a costume......if you want it pay it it doesnt alter the gameplay in anyway.....people like you is what make these games fail.
Before you use your creatir reward can you check your symmon history and tell us what is the stated percentage of legendary pull you have so far? Because i find mine may be too low or unlicky

@Galahad109-p5y yea, they should definitely not be this tight with summons. Like you say you need 180 for pity and yea you might hit that before then but with the amount of actual summons you get it's not good haha I CBA rerolling. Just take what I get
@@SinCat-o8s I think SR units just slowly lose too many stats in late game vs SSR's and when you get late game you start having more stars on SSR's while you get stars early on SR's that makes them able to match early to mid game.
@@volkingacha 100%. For me after the honeymoon phase was over, the dailies just felt so tedious and unrewarding. Much prefer turn based games like this.
The gacha pity in this game is awfully horrendous. I thought you're gonna get the limited featured character after losing but no, you get the guaranteed after 180 pulls. I've lost twice now to Gloria banner and pity reset again at 100 after you get a legendary. Not to mention the 4 stars/epic units in this game are not guaranteed every multi, i just got the most awful multi earlier, all 3 stars. 😑
0.6% chance to get a 5 star, legendary equivalent in Genshin, HSR and ZZZ. It's 2% in SoC. I don't know if you're good at math, but that's literally more than 3x higher. So on those games you may have to pull/summon/wish up to 180 to guarantee a 5 star / SSR / legendary. And I've seen it happen multiple times. 180 pulls to guarantee the one you want. Also at a 0.6% chance in Hoyovere's game, and it's about the same in the average for most Gachas. It's 2%, literally 3x and then some of a higher chance to get a legendary. Should check your facts and numbers before posting silly stuff mate.

Games from Hoyo and WuWa are completely different quality in terms of graphical looks, voice acting and everything, those game are much more expensive kinda comparable to AAA games, thats why its just unfair to compare niche jrpg game like SoC to casual heavy game that caters to a lot like Genshin and WuWa
@@jrandell217 2% doesnt mean sht if you don't get the limited after a legendary lose, still a low ass rates. Also in hoyo gachas, the odds of getting a 5* increases if you're close to pity, not to mention you get a 4* guarantee every multi and a guarantee 5* after a lose 50/50 lose. Atleast in hoyo if you somehow get lucky and get an early 5* but lost, you don't have to wait for 180 pulls for a guarantee 😑 Also you expect me to get pull out 180 pulls in this game when the gacha currencies or whatever it is called are limited? Those gacha currencies also are mostly bound to stamina consumptions as well so its difficult to get to save up.
im sure its just a time thing, its still a fairly new game for most of us and im sure eventually you will have the knowledge on how most character work hence why they made the real time pvp after 6 months into the game in cn
@@ua3328 That just is not true, if you're struggling you're not playing smart or efficiently. Maitha, Faycal and whoever you get for free, no matter who + was Epics you get can easily clear the content if you're just.. playing the game right.
