The 1k is quite a mouthful. Namely it's rather bite-sized. Though there's been way more request for that or similar since coming of the 10th, which is just a good thing. Kinda would have wanted them to make the Crusade a bit more Path To Glory -esque, so could tried to fix up something starting from even as low as 500, but alas, no. Would need to fix up some sort of PTG-mod on Crusade and that's way beyond my time allotment. XD At least managed to fix up Shalaxi for my wee little Daemonettes. Didn't really help against the Drukhari mentioned last time, but last Tuesday stood their ground against two full teams of T'au suits+commanders. Two sets of 6x9+commanders full on face. Then one of them in overwatch, while missing one, and lastly the other team and first ones commander with -1 penalty. Closer to 200 shots and she still saw the battle through. There was some sushi served that night...
Great battrep as always ! But damn, so many Dev wounds coming from DA. I play GK and I feel like we're the only one without dev wounds (except for the expansive strat in melee). I trust we'll have a dedicated detachment in the codex with more MW or DW
I'm holding out for the codex. I saw one suggestion to give psilencers sustained and psycannons dev wounds (and their ndk equivalents), which would help giving the gk shooting phase a bit more punch. It might also be nice to see some of the mw protection characters give to dev wounds protection if they want us to be the tanky, low model army
