Purchased my Cobra in ‘68 for off duty & paid $85, a LOT of money back then. Had the hammer bobbed for an undercover assignment in the ‘70s and still have it. Not carried anymore, I’ll pass it down to my daughters when I go. If your Colt was mine I’d take it to the range a few times so the cylinder would free itself up a bit.
Thank you for the review. I would leave it as is. The revolver seems to be factory original. I think what makes it an Agent model is the shorter grip. I'm sure a Colt collector would love to it this original. Thanks again.
That Cobra is in mint condition. Bought a used vintage Agent in 90% condition. Quite accurate and reliable. The Agent has a shorter grip frame than the Cobra but it has the same alloy frame.
My parents brought one in 1959 in Thailand brand new in .38 Special for $75.00. We got rid of this gun in 1970 for $70.00. She files onlly 6 rounds in 1959.
