Jeff...you and your "helper", sure do some mighty fine work. I really enjoy your channel...whether the subject matter is building, milling, smoking or cooking. You are one of the rare guys who is a jack of all trades...while also being a master of them all. I genuinely appreciate y'all. Keep the videos coming. Regarding your channel..."if you build it...they will come"!
I wish I had someone in my life to show and teach me what your doing. Your amazing in my book. With your daughter to help you when she can. Keep on sharing everything. God bless you and yours.
Hi Jeff, & Hannah, your both doing a great job on the new house! It look’s very nice, and your moving right along on the project! Be safe, stay healthy, & God Bless everyone!
Hello Jeff That is during out right nicely, I do enjoy watching the projects. I do like the raised block foundations, not only does it make working uder the house easier but also gives you plenty of storage space
You look to be doing a great job. So lucky to have that weather in February. We’re halfway through our daughter’s house and everything is on hold because of frigid temps and 2 feet of snow. Buffalo, New York.
Looks awesome Jeff. I wish we lived a little closer I could really use your help up here in Maine on making a small deck for the rear of my camp. Keep them coming I will be really interested to see this whole build. God Bless! Maine North Woods Hunter (Shane)
Looks great!! We built a log house kit here in the central valley of California. I think our kit was from a company in North Carolina called Amerlink. We have a really bad gopher problem. So inside the foundation we had the concrete guy poor a layer of concrete 2 inches thick as a barrier. I strung up wires underneath the floor joists to hold the floor insulation . The concrete made it was easy and fast to fly back and forth on my creeper. I have been under there quite a few times and it is very handy to be able to get around on my creeper. We did a porch all of the way around the house. Although we had crews come in to build most of the house we did do do some of it ourselves. I'm really interested in how you build yours. I do hope you show some of the "how to " parts and explain the how and why you do what you do. I love to watch and get ideas for my small projects. Thank you for bringing us along on your journey.
Looks like it’s going good. It looks warm down there some green grassy spots even. Cold as crap up here in Minnesota tonight . Minus -22 degrees is what there saying
Okay! Cinder Blocks. Once the foundation is poured correctly, a piece of cake after that. Measurements, Measurements, Measurements! Thank you, Jeff Barron! 🥰
Thank you Jeff for sharing! We met yall here in Utah at the hunt expo spoke for a few minutes. I love yalls relationship! I lost my dad 2yrs ago coming up on the 22nd just after he tagged out on a bear. Yalls relationship Is just like dad and mine. Always working together, playing together what have you. He was/is my best friend. Take it all in you'll never regret it!!! Much love yall!! Keep it up. Maybe one day I'll pull up my boots and go noodling. Hope to see yall again someday.
Well done Jeff Looking great.... As an Electrician, please take the time (before the joists go down) to really clean up the ground under the house... It makes a huge difference for years to come
The foundation is solid! I hope the interior will have spacious rooms and modern cosy finishes. Please do not compromise! You have the craftsmanship it takes to produce top-of-the-line home. Go Barrons!
My house is on concrete blocks. After many years and a big addition the house settled and the blocks developed leaks. I'm not a fan of block foundations. So, I wish you luck. This looks like a wonderful house! Papa Bob in MO
