I grew up in a midsized southern city that has become a big impersonal metropolis. Watching your videos reminds me of a simpler time when my parents were alive. The respect that you men show Ken is also wonderful to see. This is the kind of thing that gives me hope.

That’s ok Uncle Ken my son dropped out at 16. He’s now 39 married with two boys just like him and makes more money than most painting large boats and yachts. Learning a trade pays more than a lot of jobs at this time.

Uncle Ken is adorable! He's drinking tea from a bee glass. I love bees. Deborah means bee and I always put a bee at the end of my comments. I also drink sweet tea all day, everyday.😊🐝❤
My Mama only went to 9th grade so she could watch her younger siblings while her mama and paw paw worked in their field's and helped the neighbors, my mama later on was traded out to our neighbors as a sitter to their kids for a year.. life back in the early 50s Uncle Ken seems to be a very nice kind gentleman, bless his ❤.. hugs to you all from wisconsin. .

You're lucky to have a great uncle, still around. My great aunts and uncles all died in the 1970s and 80s, and there were many that I never knew. They were all born in the 1890s to 1910s. Ken's truck looks like around 1968 or so. Nice. In the late 70s the pastor of our church had a `68 Chevy truck that he used for buying supplies for his farm.
Those old Ford tractors are the best!! I use to detail cars. I did an old Ford tractor to drive in the Tremont Turkey Festival. It turned out great!! I am a Ford person. Tell Uncle Ken Hello for me.
Uncle Ken is great. Need a video of him telling stories from days long ago. Nice truck too. Don't have to wash it, gets you from point A to point B, and it doesn't matter if scratch up the bed hauling stuff. 👍👍😎
Love Uncle Ken and his Sweet Tea! He has a laugh that puts a smile on ones face. Watching him sit on the tractor watch the young'uns build, I wonder what he was thinking about. It is wonderful to see you spend so much time with him. He certainly is a treasure!

Setting those 4x4's is pic perfect why U don't mix the concrete 1st .. dang the water..geez!! Robert u certainly have a lotta patience .. that's a good thing esp now .. wink wink. It better be sweet tea. Love good old Uncle Ken. He said he quit school in 8th grade n drank to much but he’s all good now n I’m happy for him. Robert we finally get to see the lean to getting built. Can’t believe you hit water for those post. You just might have a swamp. That land sure does hold on to it. By the way, do you do your own laundry? I live in the Midwest in the Black swamp area. Those muddy roads are all too familiar. It's so wonderful that you realize Uncle Ken is a treasure. Your mama must be so proud of you.
There are fewer and fewer uncle Ken's as more and more of us turn into uncle kens keep them close and remember the stories they lived because it will never happen again

Uncle Ken is walking history, and would be nice to scan all of his old pictures and digitalize them all, and add to his life story. Great finally seeing some of the new lean to being built,
Hello Robert I watched this video at my brother house yesterday on his TV but I had no way to comment on it uncle ken is a good ol soul I was watching to the end when you watched him drive out of sight and I kinda read your mind as he was leaving you must be thinking about he is getting old and you wanted to take it in with him driving because you know he won't be around much longer I hope he lives forever I used to watch my great uncle when he would come see me and I would watch him drive out of sight and I was just trying to absorb every moment with him and I knew he wouldn't be around much longer and I still remember his last visit to my house right before he passed away a week later he was 82 and drove a 78 cadillac coupe deville it's seamist green with a dark green vinyl top. I inherited it when he passed away in 1996 and I put it in the garage and just kept it because of him he was a very good man and I miss him bad..
