Don't count on the Builder having your back when building your home. Builders might be building 20-30 homes at a time and things get missed or overlooked. This is why it is a great idea to have a Inspector to catch the mistakes before it is too late. Once the sheetrock is up there is no way to see it something was missed or mistakes made. Usually the mishaps are minor, but why risk it!
