I have come across so many fascinating tools over the years with amazing histories and now I am trying to add them to my collection. In order to afford some of them, they have to be in pretty bad shape so I hope to start doing hand tool restoration videos. Once they are in a collectible condition I would love to tell their stories in a video. They all have a story and I would love to tell it! let me know what you think and what you would like to see!
If you would like to follow me on my other social media platforms and see what projects are going on I'd love to have your feedback there too!

Great to hear you have your relatives planes, I have quite a few of my father's and Grandfather's tools. The bit about the plastic adjustment wheel is very interesting. I look forward to your restoration videos, especially your Grandfather's plane. Best of luck with this channel.

I think you need to expand to other old tools as well. I like the idea of the stories if you can find them. Rare to find a young man interested in historical things. Refreshing.

I like the idea of doing the refurbishing and history. Those are some massive planes on your left. I'd like to see other tools as well and keep the videos short and in series.

I think this is a pretty cool idea. You will have me looking for old tools now, either to restore or research. I am looking forward to what you come up with. Nicely done!

That is a very dangerous rabbit hole 😂 it is super fun and fascinating and it’s a good example of history repeating itself. When you get the chance, look up all of the tool companies that Stanley owns... you might see some recognizable names on there if you walk down the power tool section at a big box store.

Sounds good to me. The one suggestion I have is when you do the restore vids. Make them shorter with many parts like a Series so we don't have a 1 hour vid but several shorter vids numbered in order. Just a suggestion that I think most will enjoy. Sad that I still would be using what you would be restoring!

Haha I restore to use for some! I restored a Stanley no 7 that a friend gave me and I could be happier with it! I recently planed some 6x6 posts square with it and I can’t believe how well it did. A lot cheaper than getting a new one for $350
