*NEW* CONTROLLER UPDATE IS BROKEN?! 

I used to think I was bad at controller, but after watching fresh play controller, I now respect myself. Damn, fresh is still better than me when he's experimenting with the new controller settings than I am when I'm using my controller normally. But it's hilarious to see him scared. Excellent work, Mr. Fresh.🧡

Nice video man, just wanted to comment below to give some tips if anyone is struggling to use gyro. Gyro will feel uncomfortable at first, since aiming with 2 input methods is very confusing. Flickstick although good can screw up your ability to build if your gyro sens is very low so I would recommend using that after you get used to gyro. Firstly, playing with the controller on your desk is not the best idea (althought I'm assuming fresh did it to have a hand cam), having the controller in your lap is much better. I would recommend practising aiming against targets before you play in a real game since this is likely a completely new control scheme for most people. Next, practise your editing with gyro since gyro works pretty well if you use it to edit builds. Changing your right stick to a higher sens also makes sense since you don't need to be as precise with it anymore since you have gyro. Then, practise using the right stick and gyro together (which is very confusing at first) by turning with right stick and then micro adjusting with gyro to some sort of target. Then, you should feel a lot less discombobulated than before and you'll be able to get a good idea of how gyro feels. Granted, training more will of course get you even better results but this is just for getting started. As for settings, I would recommend a gyro sens of 2, with no acceleration, default smoothing and tightening but 3 also makes sens. Also, if you were wondering what the numbers mean, a sens of 2 means turning the controller x degrees will turn the in game camera 2x degrees. Lastly, not trying to self promote but if you want a general idea of what gyro aiming is capable of, channels like get dunked, megaphone (and me) will let you see how gyro aim can look like once you get the hang of it. I spent 30 minutes experimenting with the GYRO settings, found the settings that suit me... and FELL IN LOVE WITH GYRO!! For playing or map creation... this is the way to go!!

Im glad regular controller has gyro, switch has had it for awhile, the flick is new, but gyro i feel helps so much for aiming and such, its great

I think the strategy for this new aiming system is only use gyro for minor aiming and just use the joystick for the long distance aiming

i feel like gyro will feel more better for controller players who move their body and arms a lot while playing cause their reflexes but for the players who just have a still posture will prob use the flick one for certain situations

That essentially means that we controller players can now flick and perform more insane trickshots. Should be integrated into driving so that you can stare with the gyro and look around 360 degrees with the stick.🙏

I think some people don't know but gyro isn't actually for aiming its like actually used for more accuracy and reducing recoil

There’s so many brain dead comments in here. With that said this is a game breaking update that can catapult a lot of players forward in terms of skill (with a lot of practice). Switch has always had this as an option, but the fps limitation made it very difficult to use gyro controls practically. I recommend any controller players to at least use gyro for ADS for the added precision when aiming, especially if you play linear. I’ve played many mobile shooters and gyro is a pretty important aspect that many mobile pros use in games like PUBG Mobile Call of Duty Mobile, and others. Whether you like it or not, this will become an aspect that is talked abt when deciding how to set up your sens, but I don’t think pros will hop onto it quite yet, but may experiment with it in the shadows. Also daily reminder that PC and kbm are two different things. For you idiots this means that not every PC player is a kbm player.

If you want to get better at controller use these settings: X=jump, Square=pick up, Triangle=pickaxe, Circle= build, R= crouch,The big button in the middle= map, down arrow= inventory.
