I’m brand new but want to switch careers. Is it possible from these kinda courses or do I need to go to a bootcamp?

@@mattburris257 absolutely, I would first try to make a few projects and put together a resume. If you don't have a github or linkedIn, make one. First follow a few online tutorials, get familiar with one or two technologies, then build something unique (ie: not from a tutorial). I ended up starting on an MS degree before I got a job, but the economy had just started recovering from covid. Keep a few bootcamps in mind, research them, and give yourself a time frame to get a job (say 6 months to a year). If you don't have a job by then, join a bootcamp

I disagree that large 40-60h courses are dreadful, I think we - self learners, whenever we start new language or technology, it´s good to take large course that we can come back to later on. I started learning to code with your bootcamp course, finished it 3 months, got job after next 4 months. Keep on creating man, you are talented to make those courses

@@genzod-i6e then you might be disappointed. It is quite dated and modern react has moved beyond a lot of what is taught in that course unfortunately.
