@@azzy90 long covid doesn’t mean that you’re still testing positive. It’s a broad term that covers any lingering symptoms or complications following covid that are disruptive to your life. For me I finally got diagnosed because after I got covid, for months I was constantly exhausted. I’d sleep all weekend and I started getting POTS which is this thing where your heart starts racing. My heart would jump up 50 bpm when I went from lying down to standing for instance. I went on to be diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome after six months. It’s horribly debilitating. It’s a central nervous system disorder and i feel like o have the flu almost constantly unless I rest a lot. The only way I’ve been able to function is with things that suppress inflammation - sometimes I’ve even had to drink cough syrup. Now I’m on gabapentin which dampens messages from your nervous system and that’s helped a ton.
A friend's husband died yesterday (Dec 30) after coming down with Covid earlier this week. It's very sad. I still mask and always get the booster when available.
If you get the booster why are you wearing a mask I suggest you stop living in fear and did your friend die with covid or off it. Sorry don't believe you

This is the second time I’ve had Covid and this time it is attacking my legs, my right leg to be exact I could not lift it for like eight days now it is starting to get better and I can bend it some but I still can’t drive, The hospital couldn’t figure out why my leg hurts. They should’ve ran a Covid test after I left from the hospital a day later. Lo and behold I find out that some of My family members tested , positive for Covid , surprising the doctors didn’t figure it out when I had a rash on my body also, stay safe everyone my muscles hurt so bad and I got scared. Thank God it is finally starting to get better. 🙏🏽
This variant really is hard to detect. I spent hours searching my entire house for it and finally found it out in the garage, under an old stack of newspapers.
That virus is a strand of DNA which means it can mutate in order to survive. That virus wants to live just like tou want to live. The microbial world of the virus is fascinating.
I have had Covid three times since August. And before that I had three times . The weirdest was round four I actually felt better got my energy back , then got hit with round five and went done and round sixth has been mild but long lasting. The very first round also attacked my legs and I couldn’t walk .
I had weak wobbly legs the first case of covid I got in 2020 March. And a month or so later, I kept having episodes of the weak legs. That was the onset of Long Covid 😒 I'm sorry you had all those cases. So much for the clowns who advocate for natural immunity

Me and my mrs have it now. It sucks! Its like 3 days of fever, starts with dry cough and then becomes a wet cough. Low appetite, low energy, hard to sleep. Just feel restless. I had Covid 2 months ago on a cruise ship and it wasnt as bad as this new variant for me.
Same here. I felt so bad because it got in my right leg and it felt like it was paralyzed with pain. My kids had to help lift my leg and getting in and out of bed.
On my 2nd day of mild symptoms, mid-Dec, (mainly felt like a little congestion, just in my trachea, & a bit of a fever the 2nd day), I tested negative at home. But have some risk factors for severe, so my doc's office asked me to stop by for a test there. Was swabbed there for both rapid & PCR. Their rapid test was positive for Covid, so I was given an Rx for Paxlovid right away. It seemed to be very effective, on the whole.
I think I have COVID rn, just ordered some free tests in the mail. I have no taste or smell and nose congestion, been sick for a week now but never thought to take a test until I lost my taste and smell. figured it was just a common cold.
I have no problem with people taking precautions to be safe but our first concern in our world should be resources and getting those important ones to those in need understanding life is like a plant that we should only grow so fast. We need to educate and take care of the people we have on this planet and stop trying to make new kids to save the worlds debt with a great new invention. Our health is our wealth. We've proven we can change 😷 It's time to think about planting some seeds 🌻
I’ve never had Covid But randomly, I’ll start passing out, throwing up or doing extremely weird things such as zoning out It’s been happening for 5months
This new strain is brutal. I woke up at 4 am feeling fine, just another normal day. By 2:35 I was in the ER testing positive for covid and on multiple IV's.
