You’re the guy from down to sleep? I had no idea 😂 I’ve been following that podcast for a while on RU-vid. I guess I’ve been following two channels on RU-vid with you without knowing they’re both the same person, haha. I like to read, but if I read I can’t sleep, since I won’t put a book down for anything at all until I’ve finished it, so listening to your podcast is a lot better when I’m going to sleep

Bit late to the party here.. but on the romance topic. I actually met my husband whilst working in retail at a gift shop just before Christmas. He came in wanting to buy canvasses for his family & I felt like I had been punched in the face by fate. I just knew this man was the man I was going to marry, very strange but very true. Everyday on the lead up to christmas he dropped off a coffee for me, then would walk me home after work. We've now been together 8 years and married 2. Everyone has a soul mate & my god do you know when you've met them. Merry Christmas everyone ♡

Christmas always comes with a bittersweetness. The nostalgia, the happy memories, they're special. As a kid, and now as an adult, it was and is my favorite holiday. While it might not be the same for me, there are traditions and magic my siblings and I get to share with my niece and nephew. Those kids are always excited on Christmas morning and it is infectious. This might be the year I teach my niece how to make pumpkin pie, if she's interested.

I felt bad for Mildred when people rejected her sweaters that she had already made for them. I hope that they genuinely don’t have a clue how much work it takes to knit or crochet a sweater by hands. If they do… they are just a-holes.

I live in alaska so I see mountains like the ones in the game all the time! I have to say after a while you do get used to it but there are some days where they are extra gorgeous, typically in the beginning or ending of seasons. And when they get hit with golden hour or alpine glow. Also absolutely love your content and happy holidays!

About your jumper talk... Nothing nicer than wearing a great sweater. May I suggest you wait until the season ends, and get yourself a nice cashmere jumper? With sales, they can found for about the same prices as a regular sweater. The difference is amazing. (Warning: it'll spoil you, but I'd rather have one nice cashmere than a 100 acrylic. See if you don't agree.) And the trench is a timeless classic. Find one that fits, and you'll be well-dressed for life; they never go out of style. Most importantly, screw people, like me, who want to tell you what's what. Wear whatever you like!

Admittedly this is a strange thing to notice and comment about, but the steering wheel is on the wrong side. US postal trucks have the steering wheel on the right side. Its done so that, in rural areas with no sidewalk, the mail carrier can deliver mail in mailboxes without leaving the seat. Also, they aren't stepping into traffic during all their frequent stops.

Glaucoma is no joke. Yes, it’s not life-threatening, but it seriously affects the quality of life. I have had an appointment with ophtalmologist two days ago, and my left eye… well, I was told that I am facing a serious risk of having glaucoma. The measurements and tests results were not good. I am only 35, I still feel like I have a whole life ahead, and losing an eyesight was definitely not in my bucket list. I’ll do what I can to prevent it and I’ll have my eyes checked twice a year now, instead of once a year as I did before. I was born with quite poor eyesight, and I was very successful in keeping it from getting worse… until last year, when 👑🦠 caused eyes and eye muscles inflammation. It would be sad to lose the ability to see, even more sad to me because I am creative embroidery artist and I make beaded jewelry and accessories. If it happens, will have to choose a different field… can’t imagine what it might be, but I’ll think about my possibilities.

My Dad was a retired mail carrier, and he passed away suddenly this year, so this is our first Christmas without him.🥺 Also, my game keeps crashing after the second day, it’s so frustrating. 😕

I'm so basic my favorite Christmas food is mashed potatoes lol. Or sweet potato pie, yum. I like the unhealthy things lol. Oh the whole meeting someone, I met my partner in community college so I guess I got lucky lol. Although that doesn't mean I didn't use apps before. But I sat down next to him cause someone took my spot and his weirdo ass shook my hand😂 We became friends first and eventually we began dating. He's the nicest man and I couldn't help that I developed a crush and I got lucky that he also liked me back. He would help me a lot with school work and he still helps me a lot now. We've been together for 7 years now! Idk if it's really that cute of a story tho lol. But thought I'd share since you asked! "You're an adult that's falling apart" is exactly how I'd describe myself😂

TLDR: build 2 life skills: benefit of the doubt, and finding common ground. Something I've found very helpful in life is two things: 1 always give people the benefit of the doubt unless you have evidence otherwise. Everyone is so caught up in thoughts of themselves and their own lives they they rarely notice when they intrude on someone else, so how can i take offense? 2. When I'm struggling to get along to get along with someone i look for and highlight that persons positive attributes that i wish i had. It sounds strange but I've made so many genuine friendships with people i initially disliked. For example someone who argues a lot.. well guess what? I realized that they were really just standing up for themselves and i sonetimes wish i had more self-confidence in that area. Or someone that constantly nitpick ends up having a really good eye for detail and is thinking about the big picture and how seemingly little things impact other emplyees and customers. Teaming up with them improved my work life and the companies overall production.

Respectfully, I kind of love the fact that nothing major ever happens in this game. It's more a feel good game and I think that's the charm of it. In a market where games are expected to have all kinds of twists and turns, I actually really enjoy these types of slow games That's just my opinion though, no hate to morph or others who think this game was lacking❤

the two things i gotta watch at Christmas and new years time "Bernard and the Genie" (original) starring Lenny Henry and Alan Cummings, thats what i watch at Christmas. and "Blackadder: Back and Forth" at new years. I definitely recommend Bernard and the Genie as it's so feel good and all the Xmas music that plays gets you in a festive mood. it's so good!! but has to be the original as the remake is awful. I also like Love Actually.

Well my first experience of Christmas was when I went to boarding school in high school and we had advent. My family didn't celebrate it but now I normally visit my sister and have a Christmas dinner with her family and in laws.

Just finished watching to the end. You're right - there wasn't much character development. Just a pleasant, nostalgic visit to Lake. I have to cast about for the pleasant, nostalgic childhood memories the game invoked for others here... but if it helped even a little, that's enough for me. Originally, I was determined not to play this version of the game because I am a big fan of Meredith, but curiosity finally made me buy the DLC. I am glad that I did decide to play the DLC because I enjoyed meeting new characters, and I enjoyed the jokes that I heard in the game. My favorite joke was when Thomas told the mechanic that not all of our daughters can follow in our footsteps. I believe that is what they call irony. The one thing that I did not like about the game was when I had to deliver some illegal fireworks to Frank. I got a little lost at point since I was trying to find a hidden location that was not part of the original game.

At first I thought this game was boring, but then I found myself explaining the plot to my partner. "Yes you win a trip to Florida. No the game isn't about the trip. You don't go on the trip. It's not until September. Well, the real emotional climax is when your friend admits she has glaucoma. Yea, it sounds like she has a good treatment plan already and it won't get that much worse. Well, she can't read the labels, so that's a problem." Thanks for playing this one Morphy, I had so much fun watching
