NICE to finally hear a RU-vidr(s) admit the Story of Seasons games are mediocre. My first farm sim was Stardew Valley. Excited to play other farm sims, I found everybody’s beloved SOS series archaic and dutiful. I have only enjoyed 3 farming games: Stardew Valley, Rune Factory 4, and My Time at Portia. I almost liked SOS Doraemon, but the mining mechanic bored me to tears. I was excited to play RF5, but the reviews talking about terrible performance issues kept me from purchasing it.

Some of the older Harvest Moon games on the gameboy advance - 3ds are INCREDIBLE, but yeh - the series got a bit samey. If you could deal with the my time at portia bugs then the RF5 performance issues should be okay. They dont impact gameplay too much - glad you like our video! 😁

Felt like forever since the last video. My world was so dark without you two haha im excited for story of seasons. Co-op will be a lot of fun. I have a friend i play co-op with a lot and she wanted a multiplayer story game for as long as i can remember. Should be a great time

I didnt really like the farming part because it was always being destroyed by rocks and things and honestly at first I liked farming but on this game I didnt

I always like the social aspect of Story of Seasons. Getting to know the villagers. Discovering lore. Romancing the cuties. The time I spent farming was just a daily chore to get to the Stories found amongst the town folk.

The sociql simulation is more your thing? How do you feel about Rune Factory then? Is the battle system more interesting than farming?
