@@BlackKnight66600 not everyone thinks the scary halloween costumes are the best ones. Crypto has more cleaner skins than caustic. Caustic has more terrifying ones. Best? They both got good ones. Depends what you like
the fact that the crypto heirloom kinda shows his non serious side, like how he kinda gives people a cold side when he inspects his heirloom he isnt as cold and kinda like a kid.
The way the sword is positioned when running is in reference to the way samurai hold their sword when ready to strike. (Not 100% on this but I'm pretty sure its true so don't take my word for it)
I love this heirloom, I just wish that it AND his drone changed to match his current skin. Y'know how weird it is to be a black iron bear/lion thing with bright blue lights, but have a neon green and white drone? It's very visually unappealing
As a Crypto main, Crypto has lots of cool stuff in his character: skins, skills, dialogue, heirloom, animations (his running as well), clothes, abilities (in-game as well using his drone) etc. This makes me wish there's an apex pack you can buy in shop specifically for heirlooms only.
I think the fact the odds are so low and you have to open so many packs to have a chance at them kinda adds onto the lore, it’s cool how hard they are to get, you know when someone has one they put in some serious work. Makes u really think about your choice when you get some shards too
I really believe that the 3rd person holster is a bug. Like it should've only been the grip that was there with no blade. Get what I mean? haha Cuz when you equip the heirloom, the blade assembles itself, implying that the blade was not assembled when sheathed/unequiped. Yeah, that's just my thoughts on the 3rd person view haha Cuz it looks weird when seeing it in 3rd person ngl hahahaha
@@Lxkizzy i mean you are right rampsrt rev and crypto aren't in a good spot right now but they have gotten the most well designed heirlooms but i hope that respawn will give them the buff they need but they also havent give any buffs to rampart except for the mobile sheila but that just feels more like a qol change rather than a buff
@@lighting0b450 yeah but he isnt like at least B tier good he is in pair with seer but not even close to BH imo but of course he isnt the low tier leyend he was before his buffs i wish i could say the same of my main crazy turret girl
This is easily gonna be my first heirloom, both because I main Crypto and its one of the coolest in the game. Also that animation with the rolled up photo, damn.
As someone who’s big into sword, gun stuff and crisp sound design and clean animations, Crypto’s animation for him taking his sword out does things to me 😩 matter of fact, I’ve started consistently playing him again for the first time since his release because I’m hoping to get good with him and eventually get his heirloom
the apex animation team kills it every time. There's showing off so much character with their animations even when all we see are the character's hands.
@@madladOG when i do this my hud always flickers on and off, but for you he just spins it without it looking weird. thats really all you have to do? just spam N?
@@mr_heartless5903 It only has one inspect animation and one unique animation for when you land at the start of a match and sometimes when you pull it out where wraith spins the kunai around with her finger.
Alright they need to go back and give all the old heirlooms complete 3rd person animations. Crypto is swinging his sword around like a damn master at his craft meanwhile bangalore over here using her kukri like its a blunt object .
I would've bought this if i played crypto😭 i got heirloom shards for the 1st time and i main newcastle so i gotta wait like 4 seasons for his one to come out
Can't wait for Alter's heirloom... whenever that'll happen. Maybe it can be her tail thingy, or maybe not because it's part of one of her abilities. Idk
Because japan wasn't the only asian nation with a slightly curved sword. Koreans also used double edged swords, straight blades (jikdo) and slight curved ones thats similar to katana. western medias fascination of the samurai culture lead to introduction of katana and the japanese way of making such blades hence why in english people refer to them as katana.
