Devsisters redemption arc, they Made an awakening system for dark cacao and not a seperated Character and they are hearing the community again i hope devsis stays like this but the pay to win stuff is what they need to fix honestly

This means that in the future, all the ancients we've got from the gacha will all be useless. Those who spent money to promote Dark Cacao and other ancients to max now have to do it all over again, their money all went down the drain.
I was so happy until ancient + was announced and now with the patch notes I’m just hoping the story will be good. Honestly in my 3 years of playing this game I never felt this disappointed before. Not even the back to back super epic drama with stardust, capsaicin and shining glitter made me this disappointed. I hope they fix this but since this is official they probably won’t. Rip F2P players 😭😢😔🙁
I been playing since pumpkin pie and I have to agree with the super epic statements and this ancient + cookie i think they should of just done a crystal jam power and then a legendary costume that I'm never gonna get
As a free to play player who somehow got lucky and actually managed to get Mystic Flour, this feels like AFK Arena all over again. Having duplicates of the heroes instead of just upgrading the heroes themselves, new rarities that have insanely low pull rates, adding new rarities entirely instead of just using current ones or even just combining rarities - no one seems to do that at all. For God's sake, imagine if Dark Cacao Cookie became a Dragon/Ancient multi-rarity once you ascended him! Wouldn't that have been better than an all-new rarity for essentially a buffed cosmetic?
Yes the fact that it’s a separate cookie is a little bit problematic, however we are all grown enough to not send hate or leak addresses. If you don’t like the event either ignore it or quit in silence but stop doing the dumb 💩 like leaking addresses, when yall get a RICO charge then what?
One part of me doesn’t see this as too much of a big deal. Maybe the Dragon Lord Dark Cacao represents a change in his character, since he did witness some of his closest allies die in front of him, and he seemed pretty devastated in that scene. Another part of me is questioning things, though? I do agree that maybe the Dragon Lord Cacao could have been some kind of form for the Dark Cacao we already have that we could’ve been able to turn on and off at will. And maybe instead of “Ancient +”, the new rarity could’ve been something like “Super Ancient” (kinda like how there’s “Super Epic”) or “Ultra Ancient”. I know just sticking a word in front of a word for an existing rarity probably isn’t as effective as just finding a new word for a rarity, but to me, it sounds much better than sticking a + sign at the end of a word. Ancient + sounds like a service’s attempt at making a name for either an extension for itself or a premium version of itself. None of us can control Devsisters’s actions, and I’m still happy to play Cookie Run: Kingdom, but honestly, there are times where they could’ve made better choices.
As a F2P player I can honestly say that I’m disappointed in the decision Devsisters has made for this update but I’m honestly not surprised anymore I’ll probably still play but only for the story from now on i guess since I still find the story interesting
Im still gonna play and Attempt to get him (even tho im F2p) but still its outrageous, its not even a buff, its just another cookie entirely (the original Dark Cacao is now useless, and so will the other ancients if this keeps going)
Am I the only one feeling okay with this? I mean, the devs can give us a lot of those new gacha thingies + i guess the gacha will be avaible after the update tho. Besides the promotion apperiance is cool, even if little. All those years we solely didn't have it, so it's a fun change as the promotion still works the same.
The problem is that F2P had limited ways to farm for gacha lights, taking too long to even get a 10 pull and need to be lucky too while P2W who spent so much for basic full star Dark Cacao will have their money go down to waste again (this goes to everyone who genuinely built him too) Meta's are also changing fast, F2P would have trouble in following arenas. Either way, in my opinion having a new rarity can cause a mess in many ways for both (mainly) F2P/new player and P2W. Because F2P has to grind too much for resources while P2W needs to invest their money more into the game. (Do i even need to mention that in the future we'll be having more ancient+ rarity for each that could overwhelm F2P?) I understand that they did this since rumours said that they are running low on budgets but honestly this felt like a cash grab for those who use money in game rather than actually caring for those who played the game freely.
@@clockerhead I guess so.. However I feel like the Mystic Flour update is/was really F2P. It may be hard to get her, but the guarantee is real easy (if a really active player.). Personally, yes i bought one package and got her by pity, but F2P players got the pity too. I mean there's no problem in a new rarity as long as you can obtain it.
Welp, I already bailed from Kingdom twice, coincidentally around the release of Mozzarella and Elder Faerie, which both were part 2s to their respective Ancient Cookie updates, looks like I’ll be doing it again for Dark Cacao Plus over here.
Honestly, I don’t have a problem with the gacha or separate cookie. I actually am really excited about it! I think it will be EXACTLY like Mystic Flours, where it will be guaranteed either way. But I admit, that wasn’t too wise for Devsisters to do. Maybe they’ll fix it someday? Or maybe not. Either way, I don’t really have any problems with the new update.
Honestly, i just don’t get it, now don’t come at me for explaining and rant stuff to about this, because i am going to be sick and tired of everyone because of it, idc if this is the problem, and it’s not my problem, I’m just doing my own thing |:(
❗️So EVERYONE PLEASE READ IMPORTANT❗️ Cookierun announced on discord i think that they will delay the update to fix the awaken cacao due to unhappy community with the separate cacao idk much abo this but they are going to do something with the awaken I cannot fully confirm it for you guys that it’s not going to separated but before further notice so far they at adjusting the awaken no one knows if it will end up being separated or not they are just doing some adjusting for it and I don’t think they might make other awaken ancient due to this hate their getting and to be honest I think there shouldn’t be this awaken thing because dark cacao is the only one left to get buff and if everyone gets the same thing the other cookies are useless and once again just makes dark cacao weak but myself once again I do not know what kinda of adjustment all I know is that they are delaying this to adjust awaken dark cacao ATTENTION EDIT They have confirmed they are adjusting the awaken dark cacao into a new dark cacao and I think it is confirmed it won’t be a separate cookie anymore I’m 80% sure but for now the team is pausing it for 9 days so next Friday to release the update they did listen to our feedback and will fix the awaken dark cacao into a new cacao doing something with the old one before mantience happen so that’s all I know but hyroolegend talked about the delay so you should watch the video he posted for further information
Guess gonna boycott this update since its getting to much for us f2p players and why didn't they just make a new crystal soul jam and just a costume INSTEAD OF A NEW COOKIE
