If you block a gen they can’t regress, so the killer can’t use pop or break it, and ruin wont work

I was wondering about that. Though I'm a Cheryl main, I don't use Repressed Alliance much because I didn't think it kept the gen from regressing from Hex:Ruin.

Fun fact: pyramid head can one shot at normal hit range with his ability, the trail will hit them and so will the sword they need to be close tho.

As I have watched Monto comment on Cheryl, I'll loooooooooooooooooooosely quote him for you: If killer had Pop goes the weasel or ruin, or any of those gen regression perks, they CAN'T work on a blocked gen. So basically you deny gen regression. And if you crouch on the paths you don't get torment either, kind of like Hag traps.

I learned the crouching later on when I finally read the loading screen tip. As for Repressed Alliance, I don't think that the perk has no use outside countering. I want it to have an additional feature, something unique that really makes use of it's otherwise really cool theming

The Executioner is has a REALLY cool basis, its so cool that you basically Mori someone on Death Hook, although I feel like this will get changed eventually, its still REALLY cool

Blocking a gen stops ruin from regressing. So you have the gen at 80%, The killer is coming and ruin is up. You can activate the gen block and for 30 seconds it cannot be regressed. Killer has pop, he hooks someone and is coming to you, you block it and he cant pop it.

Fun fact: The constant fog in Silent Hill was not only a means to compensate for system limitations. It was also based on the town of Centralia, Pennsylvania. Due to a fire starting in the coal mines underneath the town, the location is constantly flooded with smoke and carbon monoxide, cracks open up in the ground, and occasionally sinkholes collapse. The town is currently abandoned, and last anyone checked, the mine is still slowly burning.

Honestly, I think his mori is underwhelming compared to all the recent moris we had with last killers. I dunno if that'd be fitting for Silent Hill and Pyramid Head, but if it would, I think iron maiden type of mori would be something really cool to see (like summoning a cage on the survivor that is being mori'd) :)

The survivor perk to block gens is useful to prevent the new killers perk that allows the killer to kick a gen and go undetectable, not to mention counter pop and ruin. So used correctly its far from useless.

Repressed alience is for gen perks like ruin. It stops those perks from affecting the generator for a certain amount of time
