I would really love to hear more about Blessed Be and Villains combo. I often really struggle with knowing how to work with more affirmation decks. Blessed Be is a deck I often think wow how lovely and yet I feel at a loss for how to journal with it as I am not someone who feels drawn to simple pull a random affirmation for my day. Thanks as always for sharing your process and creating content.

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect botanical deck, I’ve seen a lot that I really like but just wasn’t sure if they were perfect for me and the two tarot decks I have right now. When I saw the Southern Botanical oracle I knew that one was for me, I’m in Texas and so many of the plants in that deck resonate with me. My absolute favorite plant is a Texas Mountain Laurel, this deck has a mountain Laurel (different plant) but that’s probably the closest I’m going to get to my favorite plant/tree/flower in an Oracle deck!

I love pairing decks and love seeing how and why you pair your decks with one another. Love the Southern Gothic and Stranger Things combo. The Mara Lunne deck has been on my list for a while - that Queen of Pentacles is stunning!!!

Hi Dawn… I love the Southern Botanic oracle 😍 I did a video showing it with the Carte Postale and the Intuitive night Goddess Tarot I too use the 2 keywords for cards on each side but it pairs beautifully with these two and so many others…. But I’m still not sold on the seed & Sickle 🤔another great video Thanks!!!♥️🌙 Ps: The other Mara Lunne is not Linen like say the gentle tarot linen…. It’s thin and you wouldn’t know it was linen just letting you know you so your not thinking “I wish I had the linen card stock”!!!

This was fun! I'm intrigued by that new botanical oracle but I'm worried I just don't know enough about plants (not to mention astrology) to use it fully. I gave up on the Seed and Sickle because for me it didn't work, even with the guidebook. I would have needed more info on the plants and what you see on the cards. Hope it works out well for you!

I really hope you do a follow up on how the herbal astrology deck works out for you. I am lusting after it but am trying to avoid the impulse purchase... even though it is on sale at HH! I would edge it in light blue .. oh man, i think i need this deck 🤣🤣🤣thanks for the great video

I feel very similarly about Seed & Sickle. I get very little to work with on its own. I mostly read in the morning before work and I don't have much time to read the guidebook for a meaning. I've considered writing keywords, but my handwriting is meh and tends to be large. They are beautiful though. I think you just talked me into getting Herbal Astrology. Lol

I really enjoyed your deck pairings. Especially pairing decks with the Seed and Sickle, Celtic Spirit and Forest of Enchantment. I have been trying to find a fae deck that shows artwork that depicts the real fae I have actually encountered. Of course I haven't seen all fae decks but haven't seen any that do as yet. The ones I have interacted with didn't have antlers nor crowns but appeared as small winged humans approximately 6 inches tall. Could you or anyone who reads this recommend any decks (tarot or oracle) which depicts them that way? TIA

I know this is an old comment, but if you haven’t already check out Brian Froud’s Faerie Oracle, he based them on his (and his wife’s) encounters. The guidebook is phenomenal, it’s easily among my top 10 guidebooks I’ve ever come across. I’m VERY picky about oracle decks- I can’t use any that are too fluffy, or too positive, or too mundane, or too woo, etc😂. This one has been a favorite since I got, and it’s scarily accurate! One thing to note though, is the cards don’t have keywords/phrases on them - just the titles of the cards. I was going to write the keywords on the space by the titles (as Dani Mystic did with her copy), but didn’t get around to it in the first few months of working with the deck, and by that point I knew them well enough that I didn’t find it necessary. Another deck you may like is tarot of the secret forest, but this is more of an Oracle for me since it kinda establishes its own system and interpretations. The images are more “realistic” of the hidden folk than most decks though! And it’s a fantastic deck in my experience with it. Both decks are mass market, btw!

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I tend to pair the Star Tarot with the Cosmic Reading cards as well as the Tarot of the Sidhe. I don’t actually have the Light Seers so I don’t have any suggestions for that one. 🥰
