My car came with HID, all I did was get different color than stock. But I don't have this car anymore. I had a lot of issues with it

They work well enough.. but not really good in rain. But I don't have it anymore

I would have, but I got rid of the Camaro.. had some stuff wrong with it, and was pretty expensive. So I got a different one.

I now have a 2016 Veloster Turbo. I loved my Camaro.. but this little Veloster is a different monster..

For the Blue headlights... Never did. I got pulled over for red turn signals up front...after 4 years.. but I got rid of the car

I am not sure weather it is, but no police have said anything yet. Had them about two years. They don't say off road only, so I guess they are okay.

Got pulled over once in Texas for unrelated reasons, cop said technically they are not legal, according to federal law all headlights must be white or amber/yellow. He also said he didn't care but if I ever got charges pressed they could use the headlights against me.

I was told that about any light that flashes on front of car. Turn signal and such. It maybe be same here Georgia.. but cops don't push it.

You are actually 100% incorrect the higher the kelvin the less brighter they are so he won’t be blinding anyone! One other fact what is considered illegal is blue and red strobe lights or red headlights it’s 2022 know your facts before you post dumb incorrect stuff ! You actually sound like someone who drives some boring family type car with halogens still HATER!

@@Nandoxcelz any light exceeding 6000k is illegal. HID lights are illegal. Especially if they are aftermarket.

@@Nandoxcelz lmao the higher the kelvin the less brighter? hahaha, the higher the colour temperature, the more blinding it is. Look at an incandescent light at night or in a dark room, now look at a 5000k LED bulb in the same environment, one you'd find on streetlights, or what is typically used on newer vehicles these days. You'll find that your night vision is much more affected by the higher colour temps than warmer colours. LED bulbs are a cancer for night driving and manufacturers really need to start coming up with warm white LEDs.

They are 100 % legal. Only HID that are illegal are when fitted to a car that does not come with them from factory.. mine did. Not to mention, with projector lens...all of the light is projected at the road.. you can clearly see a line where the light cuts off if you have a surface in front of you.. and yeah, the higher the Kelvin temp, less light they produce.
