Welcome to another Super SpotterATL Full Flight video! On this early morning flight, I got to experience my first flight on Delta's new A321! At the time I took this video, this aircraft was on a week old! Definitely the youngest plane I've flown on. The flight overall was pretty nice. I really like the design of the cabin and the variety of bright and vibrant colors in the seats, floor, and overhead lights. My little opinion here because someone got a little sore about my opinion of a new aircraft, it doesn't matter what the aircraft it is, it needs some color to it, and not just from the lights. There needs to be appealing to they eyes. Not gray or bage seats and white panels and gray carpets and I feel that Delta has done a great job at giving their planes that feel to them. The service on board was excellent as always and the IFE was great as well. This was a pretty fun flight! There are some points to be addressed about the new guy. Now I'm sure many of you have heard about how uncomfortable and cramped the newer planes to Delta's fleet are. Its definitely true. The seats were very uncomfortable within the first 10 min of sitting in them. The legroom is just not enough for a guy like me who is 5' 9" and my American Air bag had to be gate checked since it wouldn't fit underneath. The space between the seats in front and beside you is so cramped as well. It's a battle for the 2 inch arm rest (figuratively). The workhorse fleet in Delta such as the 757, MD88/90, have way better seats, legroom, and not the greatest room besides you from the other person but you get the point. This is something Delta definitely needs to approve on in the future if they really want to get ahead of the competition. Just my opinion but I've heard so many people give the same complaints.
Overall a great experience and an amazing flight crew that really make you feel welcome and making me want to come back (and their awesome MD and 757/767/747 fleet).
