Tbh, baal is kinda bad at the book phase. Keep in mind I maxed out my damage for both basic and elites and I kill off one of their team members so it's a 3v1 meaning they can't do too much damage to me. I get a crap ton of hits on the book and even then it takes ALMOST exactly the whole 2 minutes to destroy it. I use the turbo special for basics and the self explosion on elites as much as I can since those do the most damage. I feel like there should be an upgrade for a cool down in the skill tree for both of those. Like just a couple seconds less will be enough to help out. But that's just my opinion 🤷
