how do you overlap the tiles for waterproofing ? There is no concave shape for nesting them together with overlap . Are these tiles for indoor use only ?
if they havent already, the molds would need a tounge and groove or some sort of design to add that laping style joint. easy if you integrate in the mold. its concrete mix so id assume its just normal concrete indoor/outdoor but this mix does not have much strength (not high psi conc mix which you can just change the mixture to achieve) so dont make these and expect to support vehicles or anything. these have a simple job, but do it well. note for roofing you need to understand the underlayments and what the additional weight will be on your existing joists
