My take on this: this whole ritual killing was premeditated. He went to pick her from the village, an erstwhile naive, unexposed pretty lady with the sole intent of using her for rituals but upgraded & transformed her by buying her stuffs in so short a time that it's difficult to doubt his faux love for her. Throws her a birthday party in line with the initial disguise, all the while, the main goal of his encounter with her still being at the back of his mind. And yes!! I absolutely don't think it's a 1st for him. The family in fact may need to be investigated. Anyways, all these na for sane country. We certainly won't get to the expected end of the story. And it may amaze you to know that the parents, being in the village, may still be very much unaware of the demise of their pretty, most likely, 1st daughter. So sad.

A guy used me for non blood money rituals. What he did is that he cast a spell on me to love him like crazy and he neglected me to suffer emotionally and he is married with kids.
