This is the "more" affordable Dior makeup line from what I have read online and understood it. The backstage products take inspiration from make up artists' kits and cosmetics. I adore the packaging. Like a lot of these professionals, I like to see directly what product I want to use, grab quickly and apply and go on to next step etc. Practical, simplistic packaging. 😊👍 I like it loads. I can't say I like mirrors in palettes.

The line is created for professionals..this explains the missing mirror. I love the formula of these pallets. I get allergic reactions to many pallets but never these. I have and love the earlier four versions. Didn't mean to pick this one up as these pinks never look so good on my face...but seeing your look I already changed my mind😀

I agree, they made for professionals.. but I would guess most of their sales are from regular consumers... and when you buy Dior I feel like you want to feel like you are holding Dior product, maybe its just me.

They don’t do the mirror for working MUA’s so we can see the shades in the palette without opening it. For pro’s it’s great but I can totally see how for anyone else it would be annoying. I do love the looks you created though ❤️❤️

Yes, I know thats their point.. but I bet most of their sales are from regular consumers... so Just I would think a mirror would make it so much better.

I bought this palette because I own the Amber neutrals and I really enjoy it. I agree with you as far as some colors being similar but I personally really like it because they're so easy to work with and it's one of my go to palettes when I want an easy eye look but it that still looks pretty.

Sorry to disagree about the packaging, but these Backstage palettes look very pro friendly to me. I love the clear top, so I can see the shades in the palette easily. 😁 💜 Especially, if you collect all three of them.

The backstage offerings are their more practical/ affordable offering. The mirrors come with their traditional luxury brand/packaging. Sephora carries both.

There’s no mirror because it’s made for makeup artist to be able to find it quickly in their kit for use “backstage” hence the name🥰

It has pretty nice shades. But not having a mirror even after a charge of $49 is not good at all! But I did get this palette from a friend of mine for FREE!!!!! SO THAT WORKS! 😁😁😂😂😍😍

Agreed, and this is one of their cheapest palettes.. I just feel that a mirror would have helped elevate the palette. I like seeing the colors but maybe if the price was $30..

Christina Brooke Their goal is not to elevate that line. They still have their jig end line complete with beautiful packaging and mirrors. This line was created for it’s practicality particularly for makeup artist and others who need to see the colors inside without having to open up the packaging. That’s why they named it the Backstage collection.
