Tatianna Anesa did a video on RU-vid if anyone is interested in seeing it on a deeper skin tone. Maybe if you have a cool undertone it might look good on you. 🤷🏾♀️
oh, I love this shade!!! I'm fair to light skin tone and I've been using Viseart Dark Mattes and StasyAlex berry and plum shades as a blush daily for a week. Since I got my Dark Mattes I realised that's exactly what I need as a blush. Such shades are really contouring and make my big cheeks look more sculpted. Doesn't look like a bruise when blended. (I'm neutral toned leaned to coolish). Also old Mac Film Noir and Sketch look like dupes for Dior Mahogany and Berry so I bought them instead. Berry applied looks nothing like in the pan though.
Completely agree. I've seen complaints from viewers saying that white content creators are not giving it a fair chance🙄 The color is ugly, simple as that. It looks like dirt and unwearable no matter what skin tone you have.
I own about 100 blushes - don’t judge. These Dior blushes are top spot #1. I will be upset if they changed the formula to appease fools that complain about pigment - false, and hard pan- keep your paws out of your makeup and brushes clean and hard pan won’t happen. I have no issues! My pink and coral Dior blushes look new after two years and high volume wear. Women have actually asked me what blush i’m wearing when I wear the coral one. So natural and Dior blushes last all day, not work day, all day! The color does not fade. Hype is real. Price is justified.
I agree, people need to mind their business...the first thing I thought of when you said you own that many blushes and recommend this formula, is that You KNOW what's good, so thank you for letting us know - I so want to try the berry shade! I may even combine the berry with the pink, for a pretty, custom look!
Fellow blush lover here! I don't have triple digits .... Yet 😅 I adore my blush collection! I love that I can pull for extremely specific shades and finishes and put them exactly where I want.
Isn’t it so weird how Dior powders never swatch well but blend out on the face so impressively?! 😂 Morgan, I have a request! Can you show us a makeup look using the cherry blush? I’m curious about the best eye look for such a loud blush! 😘❤️🙏🏼🇨🇦
Amanda Z said they almost have a neon quality to them and I think that description was so apt. I’m glad they chose interesting, trendsetting shades rather than 50 shades of boring.
The new coral is more orange, apparently. My coral was purchased at the end of 2021, technically expired. She matches the new coral in shade. The Cherry one looks so cute. I have been using Nars exhibit A, which is a red blush. I love these red tones. Rosewood is on my radar. The new formula doesn’t have talc, which could be a selling point for some people. Many luxury brands seem to be moving in that direction. Thanks for the review.
Oh nooo now I have an excuse to buy the coral shade! I love orange and terracotta blushes, they’re my recent obsession, as they look great on tan and medium-tan skin!
I love these longform videos about expensive makeup products so much. Don’t have the budget to buy the blushes but I love knowing all about them and if they’re worth it
I think I may be in the minority here but I don’t think Mahogany looked that terrible on you. I think the brush you applied it with was a bit too dense and maybe with a fluffier brush it would blend a bit better. It reminds me of Savage from NARS which I love. I am a close to your skin tone and a blush fiend myself. I ordered Rosewood and it will be arriving tomorrow so I’m curious to see how the formula differs from the original on my skin.
These are my favorite blushes. People complain bc the don’t swatch well but the apply really heavy so people need to be careful lol. I love them bc they also stay on all day. So are they worth the price? YES!
I've been stuck at home the past 1 week due to being sick with the mumps. So to treat myself, I am dropping in at a Dior store to pick up one of these along with one of their lipsticks.
Hi Morgan, Thanks for this video. I just picked up 2 of the Dior blushes. Cherry and Berry. I love the Cherry blush on me, I didn’t love the berry blush on me. It was nice, but the more I built it up, the more bruised it looked on me and I’m someone who likes purple blushes. Another RU-vidr, Tatiana Anesa, said the berry shade had a brown base and she preferred purple blush that has a pink base. I think that may be the same for me too, so I think I’m going to have to take the berry blush back. Too bad because I was excited to try the color. I may try Rosewood at another time because Sephora didn’t have testers and it looks too light in the pan. On another note, I also got 2 new Makeup by Mario blushes in Rose Crush and Berry Punch and they both look amazing on me. 🥰
Thanks for the Makeup By Mario blush tip. My sons girlfriend is very dark complected and I struggle to know what shades to get her sometimes. I know she loves the purple tones so I might pickup the Berry Punch for her. Thank you 💜💜
Aloha Morgan! Awesome review of these blushes. Rosewood looks beautiful on you. I am still waiting for this to be readily available in Dubai. ❤ On the side note, I still have the super OLD original version of this blush. Back when it was only one shade and the compact was twice the size and had a brush inside the compact. The original actually had a real usable mirror and felt much more luxurious to me. I wish they had not changed the packaging to have a useless cheap mirror. I actually liked the brush for travel. Old packaging and newer formula would be perfect.
I can really only see the mahogany blush working if you have deeper skin and a cool undertone. The color is so cool toned that i feel like it could make a nice contour shade for deeper skin tones.
Dear Morgan I absolutely love your channel and you …. Ever since I discovered you I have been watching almost every single video of yours and respect you for your insights and thorough reviews on new products…. I have a suggestion, my two cents….when ever you are showing us new blushes or lipsticks, please try to keep the eye makeup as neutral as possible….it really will help us see and appreciate the blushes and lipsticks better…in my opinion. Some eye looks can work with warm toned blushes/lipsticks but not cool toned….and vice versa….for the not-so-pro eye it is easier to truly see the shades when everything else on the face stays neutral…. Hope that makes sense Lots of Love
Deep plum blushes are meant to be used as blush contouring or also called blush draping which was popular in the 70s and 80's. So you're not really supposed to use them like you would a regular blush. You use these deep colors as a contour for your cheeks
Apart from the Mahogany shade, I thought the other 3 looked lovely even the Berry shade with just a little lighter hand on your skin tone, think I will be picking up the 3 shades, but not the Mahogany. Thank You 🌟 😊
Berry and rosewood ❤. I would never spend that much on a single blush, I just watch your channel for that lol. I do spend money on Viseart matte eyeshadow palettes and hourglass palettes lolol.
Hello Morgan🎉 I follow you since just few days❤ You & your videos have so good energy! A suggestion: Are you going to plan any Q&A video for new fans?? 🤗
I feel like it came off patchy because of the the Dior imprint. You could clearly see the imprint on your cheek when you first applied the darkest shade.
@@smileandsaycheese44 lol why you getting toxic over the fact that I thought the product wasn’t what I know it can be? It’s not like I’m saying anything about the Morgan or that the brands bad.
You are saying you can see dior written on her face after application 😂😂😂😂. I’m saying it’s your eyes. I find your comment so funny. Stop being an angry bitter person. GROW UP.
I have a tan skin tone and Mahogany has too much purple in it for my taste. It looks like someone hit me in the face. Rosewood doesn’t show up and Berry isn’t my color. Cherry is pretty but in all honesty I have this shade many times over in my collection. I know this is a viral product and the formula is nice, but the original 2 shades do a lot of sitting in a drawer. 😅😂
Does the mirror have plastic on it?? Or do they just use the cheap type of mirror?? I tried to remove it if there was any plastic on it but it wasn't removing. I bought it in my country and it's almost twice the price compared to in the US and the mirror is looking this cheap???
Even though they are produced in France, Dior products always launch months later here 😭 We never have the limited edition, and these blushes we will have to wait until September at least to buy them 😭
Oh my God the cherry is so so pretty on you… I don’t vibe with the blue base pink… Actually, I think it’s beautiful on blonde hair super fair, milky white skin .. for anyone who has a little bit of a tan or yellow to their skin… It’s not doing us any favors.. However, these blushes are gorgeous! Is it worth $40? I say yes because it will last a long long time because it’s a powder.
Love all the blushes I feel that Cherry looks very similar to Armani Mania the new blush from Armani’s new launch was wondering if you could compare to other blushes in your collection
Wow 😮 hi beautiful lady Morgan, im speechless. I can say I love the iconic pink is my favorite 😍 love the new ones, I want to have in my collection rosewood definitely is a yes yes yes 😊 have a wonderful day, see you tomorrow ♥️🥰😇
The only one that have the same similarities and uniqueness to the original release seems to be the cherry ones, the others just looks like regular blush
Sadly I’m not loving any of these. Everything looks gorgeous on you but I’m just not too excited about these. Which is probably a good thing since I do not need anymore blushes! 😅
Why are you secretly flipping people off the bird every time you swatch in your videos?!?!?! Can't you use a different finger??!! I don't even know how people let you get away with that for so long now. Maybe they like you flipping them off 🙄🙄😒😒
Great Video As Always KutE thumbNail Tho Beyond Beautiful You Are 😻😻😻Ur Makeup Always Look Good😍😍😍 😘Nice Ass Cheeks Bones Enjoy your night as well Happy Fabulous Weekend Ahead Stay Bless N Be safe Always
The dirty one😂😂 I honestly think it looks like the color of dirt. It's not the darkness of the shade that makes it ugly, it's the undertones. For such a high end blush they really could've given that shade a little more thought.
