I have wanted a white XBSX since day of launch and was hoping that it might have happened before now. However, I am very disappointed that they are releasing a digital version in white, rather than a disc based version such as the new black one. It is also bad that you only have 1 TB in the digital, it really should have been 2tb like the disc version. I am in two minds about getting one, simply because this is just a greedy cash grab from Microgreed as I prefer to call them. Yet, a white version would look good with my white PS5 and Switch.

Xbox series x all digital is a ripp off at $450 You can get a regular Xbox series x with disc for $400 most retailers So you're basically paying for no disc and white color for $50

The all digital version is not exactly white ! It’s white in the sense that it looks like the inside wall, painting of the apartments nowadays a bit more water down version but the Xbox series S looks a lot more wider than the all digital version😊

Honestly, I feel these are holdovers for this holiday season. Microsoft needs to see the increase in Gamepass sales. Then, it would or could be worth the money to invest in better internal or even external hardware. I personally agree that this should not be stated as NEW at all. But additions. Yes, it's definitely a letdown on many levels here. But it might be good for people jumping into Xbox. I think also, like others here, the discless xbox should be cheaper, especially at only 1TB or keep the price, increase to 2TB.

Finally XSX digital .. I didn’t want to buy series S.. all my Xbox 360, Xbox One, XSX games are digital so I’m glad they gave us option.. I still like physical media but I’m collecting this type on PlayStation.

You forgot that the extra $50 on the disc less xbox will give you a decent UHD Blu-ray player which are around $150-$200.

Everybody talked about PS5P.S5 had a good system when it first hit.But the slam edition, not the book problems with the HDMI.They break easy.There's been no problem with xbox new consoles with that problem at all

I recently discovered my Xbox 360 & Xbox OG games THAT ARE DOWNLOADED ALREADY ONTO THE XBOX SERIES X INTERNAL HARDRIVE, have played many times b4, no longer will load up. My Xbox Series X games, like Halo Infiniti, Halo 5, Halo MasterChef collection, will. NONE.of these games are loaded onto the hard river, I put the game in, and it starts auto downloading. Control, a Xbox One game, is not loaded, I put the disc in, it starts downloading automatically. (All are physical disc copies) Mass Effect trilogy loads up and plays. (Physical disc copy) The Witcher 3, Diablo IV Atomic Heart, Greedfall, Fallout 4 (go figure smh) loads and plays. (Physocal disc copies) Xbox 360 games, F.E.A.R, F.E.A.R 2, F.E.A.R files, Brute Force, Prey (original 360), Fight Night champion , Skyrim : definitive Edition, (physical disc copies)...won't play. Movies, Blu rays like Dragon Ball Super: Brody, Gemini Man, won't play, but a DVD ?? STAR WARS (smh Disney, go figure) will play? Listen: This IS NOT A HARDWARE ISSUE, what this is is a SOFTWARE ISSUE, as in The Xbox Platform has release a software update that prevents these games that once did play, no longer do play. The reason in my mind is DESPERATION by The Xbox Platform, and to encourage me to PAY FOR GAMES BY DIGITAL PURCHASES, to encourage me to go COMEPLETELY DIGITAL on The Xbox Platorm. Microsoft, understand this: I WILL NEVER EVER EVER DOWNLOAD A GAME I HAVE A PHYSICAL COPY OF , IS LOADED ON MY XBOX SERIES X INTERNAL HARDRIVE, AND HAVE PREVIOUSLY PLAYED MANY MANY TIMES, NEVER !!! Pushing towards digital only to people have no avenue for physical anymore. Lovely relying on a digital store, servers, and account licenses for my games instead of just popping a disc that I borrowed from a friend. So backwards.

What a failure off a console series , i thought they would rebrand the s and make a xbox series s elite and a disc version .. Instead we get this absolute garbage. the PS5 has a attachment where you can literally add a disc tray to your digital version whenever you see fit , but xbox is just rebranding colours and turning all digital , are you guys gonna have phil spencer again talking about TV and Netflix for a whole session on a damn Xbox?

At least PlayStation are slimmed down the digital verison of their console. Imagine the PS5 Digital still has the disc drive hump... So what is the purpose the empty space inside the Xbox Series X digital verison?

Sounds like like a 3 pitch strikeout to me. No faster processor, no better controllers, just color changes and the removal of the disc with more memory. I'd rather have the old one and just buy the extra memory.

I can see the original Series X with Disc Drive will jack up their prices on secondary markets. Lets face it, it's the only xbox to own to backward compatible almost all xbox games ever made. Buy the Disc Series X before they stop making it.

I guess if you only play gamepass games then then the discless is probably worth it. Otherwise, I'd just go for the one with the disc drive or wait until the mid-gen series x upgrade (which is probably not far out now I imagine) .

Actually this is an easy way to sell the xbox series x's that have failed disk drives whichs is common. They just remove the faulty disk internally, refurbish the console and cover it with the "Robot white shell". The dimensions, specs and everything else look identical to vanilla xbox series x. It would be worth it if they sold it at that price with a 2tb ssd to make it a 4k premium gamepass console.

This is exactly what I wanted - bigger storage! You’d have to be greedy and dumb to come out with a console with bigger specs, especially since we’re nearing the end of this current gen console!
