Well I’m so happy to hear our little prince found his voice , also happy to see Indian food represented at Disney springs it all looked great . That’s a for sure try looks like a good blend of American Indian foods to be a first timers place to go for Indian food
So happy there is something with some new flavors to Disney springs! I love the bread service at Sanaa so I can't wait to try this one! 😊 Oliver testing his voice is so cute. Outro folks, well done, well done👏👏! 🎉
That Shrimp is cooked perfectly! It’s very easy to overcook Shrimp, giving it a chewy firm texture. That Shrimp there is tender, almost flaky, delicious 😎👍🍤
Have you tried it? I was there Monday and totally agree. It felt like it was on the verge of being dry and overcooked but it definitely wasn't! Just a different, but still pleasing, texture! Tried it with the Moilee coconut curry sauce and did the chicken with the bhunna sauce. Perfectly spicy if you aren't afraid of heat! It was our overall favorite but everything we tried was fantastic.
I am so happy there is an Indian food place in DS now! Yay! 👏🏻 Thank you for showing it to us! I can’t wait to try it. Everything looked good, especially that bread service and the bowl. Oliver being chatty the whole video was so adorable!! 🥰
I was there Monday and LOVED it! Especially the bowls. I recommend the chicken with the spicy bhunna sauce (Perfectly spicy for me but may be too much for others) The other one we loved was the shrimp with moilee coconut curry sauce for those who like it mild. The shrimp texture really was interesting in the best way. It was firm but not dry at all. Taste was great, just an unexpected, but pleasing, texture.
Sounds like Eet has focused on very approachable versions of Indian cuisine. I would be very interested in seeing you compare their bread service to Sanaa’s bread service. (I think Jackson would probably like seeing the animals out the windows at Sanaa, too).
I liked the naan at Eet better. And 6 toppings is more than enough. Plus I loved the bowls we ordered. We thought the food was just as good if not better than Sanaa. But yeah, the animals aren't nearly as interesting to watch at Disney Springs haha.
Ding dang, that's more food than I eat in a week ;) I love Indian food because it can generally be pretty vegan friendly. Also, a big fan of the logo with the elephant.
OMGOSH!!! Indian is my favorite food and I’ve been waiting for Disney to open an Indian restaurant!!! Can’t wait to watch the vlog and hear your review!!!!❤❤❤
I always look forward to Tracker Fam videos. Thank you! Also, you sold me on the Aura frames. I bought one for my husband as a Christmas gift and used your code :)
Was looking forward to seeing an Indian at Disney. Thanks for sharing. Nothing like Indian in the UK or Spain... disappointed... (but understand have to cater for American tastes)
Did anyone else notice the sign on the table saying “place Tracker here” because I assumed at first it was a personalised sign for the Tracker family! 😂
I ordered the Aura frame from the last video, I think right after Thanksgiving. It came in like a day and was super easy to set up for a Christmas gift. Thanks for the recommendation
EET isn't really typical of most Indian restaurants in the US I live in Alabama, and we have many authentic Indian restaurants in my city. EET is more like some kind of fusion style food. It didn't look that good to me. Can't beat authentic Indian dishes.
I’m excited about this restaurant cause I love Indian food! (I think I should have waited to watch this though as it’s midnight and now I’m craving Indian food lol.) Was fun hearing Oliver’s commentary on the meal. 😂
Based on the décor of the restaurant, I'm going to just say that they didn't want to put too much money into it in case it failed. It's also concerning that 1. There was a line out the door on day one, but day 2, there's plenty of seating. and 2. The "fan favorite" is a traditional Canadian snack, and not one of the Indian dishes. I'd be willing to bet that this restaurant won't be there too long.
I was there Monday and it was amazing. I would take that bet. I got there at opening and it wasn't too busy, but by the time noon hit, it was very busy. Also I wouldn't put stock in any "fan favorite" that was decided by one day of business.
U brought up some valid points. Decor was unappealing and the dishes being offered are subpar. Visually i see very little in appearance towards Indian culture or even the country. Longevity for this location will be short term (1-5 years) before it gets replaced.
Coming from the UK where Indian restaurants and take aways are everywhere, this doesn’t look like any Indian food I’ve ever seen. It looks decent but I would not call it Indian as such. Love how Americans call even Nan breads a ‘bread service’. These nans looked a little small. I used to go to one place that had table nans, basically as big as a table.
I was excited for this restaurant but I'm afraid even for "theme park" prices it's way too expensive for me. At my local Indian restaurant in the UK I could get 4 meals for the price of that one bowl. 🤷🏻♂️
That shrimp sounds like it was old and the enzymes were already breaking it down. Could have been frozen and sat out too long after being defrosted. Either way looked really bad and that texture is a sign of bad shrimp. I hope you’re feeling ok after eating it. Editing to add before someone says it was fine, it wasn’t, shrimp is never supposed to be mushy or flaky. It should always be firm. Rubbery is when it’s over cooked and mushy and flaky is when it is starting to go bad or was frozen and not thawed correctly.
I had some of the same items you bought and tasted within a week of them opening and would not go again. Food was just not good at all. But the mango lassi was tasty.
Mmmm.. definitely not what I expected. Not the Indian food I know. Pizza??? If it’s too spicy, drink milk or eat yogurt based sides.. that’s what takes the heat from your mouth. & poutine?? How the heck is this on an Indian menu.. ?? No chickpea or lentil dishes.. like Dal Tadka.. or a Chana Masala. Oh and a beautiful Rogan Josh would have been lovely to see.. 😢 But anywhoos loved hearing Oliver and always love a Tim & Jen food review.. I’ll not be rushing to get ‘Indian’ food from here though..
The shrimp is frozen which makes it lose that snap you are referring to. Thank you so much for the quick review, you saved me so much money lol. Definitely will be trying the bread service today!!
@@glamrockfoxy6667 I don’t think the Orlando Eet has been featured on Food Network but at one point there was one in Nashville but I think it closed during the pandemic. Maneet is a judge on a few shows and won season 2 of Tournament of Champions. Love her!!
u posted this 2 min ago and the video is 24 min long... so yea... maybe the previous comments are "first comments" .. they truly haven't watched the whole video yet.. lol
Tim I highly recommend you and your wife try and review Bombay Street Kitchen on Orange Blossom Trail. I think you would find this restaurant more intriguing and taste is more elevated!!! I rate it 9 out of 10 !!!!!!!!!!!
now I want a dessert pizza.....dang it. its a bazillion degrees in Brisbane today & hot fruit & choc is not a smart move, but now thats all i can think about LOL
I know a few people in the comments are saying they aren’t particularly excited about the menu/ don’t think the place will be around for long. Funny enough, I don’t think this restaurant is at all aimed at American tourists. Indian food is incredibly popular among international tourists (specifically from the UK). Surprised they didn’t have a spot like this previously! Sanaa is a forever fave, but might have to stop in next time I’m in Orlando!
Curry chicken on chips, Indian pizza. Pizza Dessert. OMG only in America. That is nothing like a proper Indian meal. Also massively expensive. Come to the UK and have a proper Indian Meal at half the price. You’ve been stitched up I’m afraid.
Looks good but I have to say the place itself still looks like Wolfgang pucks café, just painted differently. I miss that place, my entire family misses that place. They had the best breakfast on property for the money. The breakfast pizza was out of this world and their dinners were so good. The meatloaf was to die for. We will always miss Wolfgang pucks express.
man I loved the wolfgang puck express. before downtown disney expanded into disney springs it was one of the best food options. simple but really high quality food. can’t wait to try eet!
