The retconning and destruction of 50+yrs of Dr Who cannon has nothing to do with anyone’s gender. If you enjoy the current series I’m glad for you. Just don’t insinuate that the criticism of the current series is rooted in Sexism. (Because it isn’t)

@@geminibodyshop71 nothing has been destroyed. At all. Just ADDING more storyline TO the show doesn't destroy it, at ALL. The show has been ADDING things to the Doctor's storyline since the first time they decided regeneration is a thing so they could keep making the television show. Many other things have been added, and not all made much sense, but that is okay. Having a bit of mystery to the universe is better than being a know-it-all, any day! After all, when going from #3 to #4, there was the need for another Timelord's intervention. When going from #4 to #5, there was the Watcher, which never really made sense, and was never really explained. The "extra Doctor faces" in the 4th Doctor episode Brain of Morbius was tacked on to the Doctor's storyline, too. SO many things have been added on and tinkered with and changed back (like the half-human bit in the #8 movie), that this is JUST ONE MORE addition, which changes little, to nothing, in the flow of the story. Besides, who is to say the Master wasn't lying, and it was HIM who was the Timeless Child, instead? Either way, it really makes little difference in the creature the Doctor really is. For that matter, it can open up TONS of new multi-doctor stories! Complaining about that is just... silly, to me!

I feel like Dr.Who fans are used to waiting at least we have plenty of previous Who gold to watch, I just wish there was a streaming service that held the entire library even if it was just the more recent eccelston-present

@@gregoryballestero4369 if you get Pluto or Vizio (related to Pluto), they do have an entire Doctor Who channel that plays many of the older episodes (pre-dark ages). Many new televisions have it built into the TV, itself. No, it's not the new ones, but still... it's something, assuming you live where it is available. (Edit for typo error)

Hey man, so I checked out your channel here's my thoughts: 🙂 Firstly I'd reccomend working out a theme or focus for your channel if you've got too many ideas or don't wanna tie yourself to one tv/film/game/hobby that's fine maybe have themed months or weeks work out what your audience wants to see and if it matches with what you want to create. Once you've found your viewers and your passion you'll only improve from there. If you can I'd watch some videos on camera angles for if you're planning on doing live action content you want to have the subject of the shot well lit and clearly visible in frame. For advertising the channel a good thumbnail and channel art is key, I started with outdated software and built my way up. Adobe software is expensive and finding your low budget alternative and style is a good idea. What you've created so far is definitely interesting and there's some good creativity there you just need to hone your skills and the easiest way to do that is to keep creating and making the content you want to make and watching some tutorials and the content similar to what your aiming for. It's not an instant thing to have that dream channel so don't worry about it too much, it's a hobby and it should be fun and there's always ways to learn and grow 😁

🙂 Just growing a mo raises awareness in a way even if you don't raise anything, I'm the only person I know at work/socially that's doing it atm 😅 I've only raised £20 so far an know we can do better still beats last year where I didn't manage to raise anything either 😢

As someone who has watched the show religiously for *decades,* absolutely NONE of the new ideas brought into the show break ANY rules or laws about the show. Period. We have known since The Brain Of Morbius that there were *other Doctors* BEFORE Hartnell's Doctor. We have known since #2, Troughton's Doctor, that the ruling Timelords mess with other Timelords' life cycles. We have known since #3, Pertwee's Doctor, that those same ruling Timelords will insist that other Timelords must go and fix things to the rulers' liking. We have known since Romana (with #4, T. Baker's Doctor) that Timelords can change to even look like other SPECIES, or copy other beings' faces. Going a bit forward in time, we have known since the Master's regeneration into Missy that gender can change, too. So, there has been NOTHING that has changed in the story whatsoever, other than simply making ADDITIONS to it, just like the very FIRST addition to the Doctor's storyline, when they decided that Timelords could regenerate INTO SOMEONE ELSE, so they could continue the storyline. The Doctor is still an alien that can speak and understand any speech of any species, that has a double pulmonary system, and that goes around the universe in a Time And Relative Dimension In Space capsule that often takes them where they are needed, instead of where they want to go. None. Of that. Has changed. At. All.

Series 11 deserves a fair deal of criticism. I really only liked maybe 3-4 episodes (opener, Rosa, Demons, Kerblam). But series 12 was a much needed improvement. Only didn't like 2 episodes.

And here we are... welcome to Sexism 101, boys and girls! Here is a * "FINE" * example of someone who HATES an ALIEN which we know almost NOTHING about, sexually, because the OUTWARD appearance of said alien changed from having a flat chest to bumps on its chest! The alien didn't change its species, which was already possible BY CANON in the Whoniverse (look up Romana I to Romana II regeneration). The alien didn't appear with 2 heads or no head, which was listed as a possibility BY CANON (see #9 to #10 regeneration), either. The alien DID change one thing that was already BUILT IN to CANON, as well... the outward appearance of gender (not only was it considered MANY times in the past 50+ years, it was made into CANON by Master to Missy regeneration, AND a General on Gallifrey going from appearing male to a female appearance). NOTHING about the change from #12 to #13 broke ANY rules of Canon, at ALL. But YOU have decided that, against ALL of the Canon of the last 5+ decades, you would not * "accept" * this minor, outward change in appearance! Because, SEXISM! You do NOT get to decide that ALL of the previous Canon is unacceptable because YOU are a shamefully sexist southbound end of a northbound mule. THIS, boys and girls, is what no one should EVER want to grow up to be! Okay, class dismissed for today. Study up on the kind of person who writes such drivel, and we will have a quiz Monday.
