According to the TSA website it's not a TSA violation to carry meds in diff containers. Personally, I would to cut down on any hassle, but it's not a violation.
When I pack for travel, I put a day's worth of clothing into the net bags. This way; I can grab one of the bags and head to the shower without the worry of forgetting a needed piece of clothing.
@@bleeka325 literally that is what I do....I thought the shower caps look nicer but yes..kinda a waste if you have the plastic bags available. So thanks for that.
Please, if you are traveling (particularly to another country) it is VERY important to keep you RX medicines in their original container as purchased from your doctor and pharmacist. It is also important to keep you other medicines in their original containers, even if they are over the counter because often officials, such as police or interstate personnel are not necessarily well versed on the size and shape of medicines that are NOT in their original packaging. This is an important point to note, because innocent people can get pulled aside and have to deal with consequences that they might not necessarily deserve.
I can understand why this is important. It just seems unreasonable for people who have 6+ prescriptions that are dispensed as a 90-day supply. That’s a lot of large bottles to pack. I’ve wondered if taking photographs of all of the prescription bottles would be sufficient. Or a signed list from the doctor’s should it need to be filled overseas to replace pills that were lost or destroyed?
@@tcm087 Whatever you choose to do make sure it's known, it's much better to take the easier route of not being detained for who knows how long. That can literally ruin a whole trip because you cant estimate how long it would take. No you can't just assume, the commenter is right. Americans have such an ego when it comes to this. It's simply not about you, so if it's that difficult to maneuver around, then you don't have the time to travel to begin with. Why is it taking this much to learn that? 😂😅
@@tcm087I do it every time I travel. It’s not that big of a pain. Stop being lazy and pack your meds separate. I always have mine on my carryon in a separate bag that way if my baggage has to be gate checked I can still have them on my person. It really isn’t that big of a deal.
@@tcm087taking pics won’t cut it… you should read the Customs rules before going into any country…most countries require medications in their original bottles. They will test them if they aren’t and may even toss them. Getting meds filled in another country is a pain (I’ve had to do it) but major migraine. Save yourself back them in a separate bag and just carry them with you. It’s so much easier that way.
@@sammieg8641 not about being lazy-it’s actually less work to throw the bottles into a ziplock and go than to take photos, organize pills into compartments, and label the the compartments. It’s about the unnecessary space it takes up for packing carry-on only. And of course meds, electronics, jewelry, and anything else expensive or difficult to replace should travel with you and not in checked luggage. May your shoes stick to all surfaces no matter how often you clean their soles and squeak when you walk wherever you go for that crappy comment. Cheers!
@@chocochipbananasplitIt’s a type of body cream from the brand Sol de Janeiro that’s sold at Sephora 😊 It’s spelled "Brazilian Bum Bum" but I think it’s pronounced "boom boom".
I've recently started reusing the Shein zippered bags as cubes. I pack a full days outfit into each bag. I also use the giant 6L ziplock bags from IKEA. They're big enough to store shoes or several pairs of slippers/sandals.
The push pump dispenser is great for eye makeup remover and acetone free nail polish remover. You just press a cotton ball or cotton round down onto it. We used them for both when I used to work in a spa.
I think they're in a funky spot. I've only ever seen them once in our store 😢 and I didn't get one, of course... 🙄 but it's not by beauty. It was by the wee lotions and stuff. 😊 Hope that helps
I also use grocery bags. You can close the bags completely around the shoes, in case they're muddy or something. The shower caps seem like they'd only cover the bottoms basically. But also, like bleeka said, you don't have to buy anything extra. I use grocery bags for my shoes and small dirty laundry items when traveling, and also as trash bags at home and in the car. I used to also use them to throw away the dirty kitty litter when I had cats.
@SophieMia806 Also for barf bags to keep in the car😅😅. Years ago , we were traveling & my husband threw up in the car & ever since, I definitely keep grocery bags in the car just in case 🤢🤮🤣
I used the dispenser that you push down to get liquid. (Idk what they are called) and it leaked when I traveled. So be careful maybe a ziplock bag or seal it extra shut with tape. Or put something that isn't liquid.
Funny that you mentioned the OxyClean stick being a dupe for a Tide stain stick. I suppose this is more of an amazing story for the Tide makers….we were cleaning out a bunch of boxes that had been stored in the garage and consolidating and taking to storage, or throwing away. I came across a box with some of my son’s baby things in it. I pulled out his old Diaper bag (it was a high end brand and I couldn’t wrap my head around getting rid of it). It was empty and cleaned out with the exception of a Tide Stain Stick. The strange thing was that I opened the cap and it was STILL WET! It still worked (technically), I mean…it would still work, I assumed! My son is 32. 😂😂😂
@@cassidydavis4421 if they let you through great. But if you are traveling internally the rules state to have them in their original containers with a list of doctors orders for prescriptions.
If you are traveling with prescription meds then they want original labels. You took supplements and ibuprofen. They still could have pulled them and tested them if they had thought it was suspicious because that's what security does. If you don't want to loose your meds for your trip then don't put them in pill planners.

I didn’t realize I watched your content before, but I remember that pool & patio makeover in shorts, the house transformation is crazy, it’s a totally different house, it’s so crazy to think about the state it was in and the potential you guys saw and the transformation you were able to make!
Buying name brand at the dollar store is like buying a bag of chips at the gas station, it's so much cheaper at target. That's how they make MORE money off of their small items believe it or not. It's the 5 for $2 at real stores for me.
@Other-ut9iq They say it both ways. It's usually pronounced bum bum, but in Brazil they say boom boom. I'm American, so in the past 5-6 years of being familiar with the product, I've only heard the American pronunciation because I've only heard Americans talk about it. It's just a joke because it sounds silly when you're not familiar or expecting that pronunciation.
@user-jh4un7yy2h that's what I literally just said. In Brazil, where they speak Portuguese, they pronounce the u sound differently. I get that it's a Brazilian inspired and themed brand, but still. Most of the consumers don't speak Portuguese. The CEO of the company isn't even a native speaker, she just moved to Brazil and thought the vibes would be cool for a beauty brand
The hand sanitizer sprays are usually not strong enough to sanitize; they are basically just perfume. Also, check dates, seals, and clean those bottles thoroughly because all manner of things get dumped into shipping totes and Dollar Tree is among the worst at not pitching things that are not safe anymore.
I love ❤ that you’re saying “Boom Boom” Cream now and not “Bum Bum”!!! It’s spelled that way but most definitely not pronounced that way!!! Love your videos! Love your ideas! Love your hacks! Thank you for your continued, awesome Channel!!!!
Why is the mesh laundry bag as packing cubes blowing my mind rn 🤯 seems so worth it, the packing cubes they sell on amazon and at target fall apart SO quickly I refuse to spend any more money on them. I feel like the 1.99 mesh bags would last longer anyways
my dollar tree nearest me keeps refusing to put out certain products. one day i was in there and the manager checked me out and i had some really popular products i had been watching for for weeks. anyway, i finally found them! and i bought 3 of each. i get to the register and she told me that she refuses to put this particular item out “because it sells out immediately” uhhh, what????? excuse me lady, but isn’t that the point?? are there any other DT employees who can attest to this behavior? i can no longer find any of the spray hand sanitizer after i got one a few months ago too!! there are so really good ideas in this video!
I never fly without earplugs. I have found that the noises from the engines on Airbus planes bother me on a level that leaves me tired and irritated. So if I travel on an Airbus earplugs take out the higher pitched whine that bothers me.
