Dragon Ball fans have gathered for a pre-launch event for an eagerly anticipated new video game - Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero - which is being released alongside a new animated series. The latest additions to the franchise were described as a fitting homage to Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, who died on March 1, 2024. Toriyama was a heavy-hitter in the manga industry, whose work greatly helped popularise the genre outside Japan.
