Glad it was helpful! LOVE these DRMTLGY sunscreens. Their chemical options are nice too, but I am on the all physical train as it works best for my oily mess lol.
OMG - you're a machine, churning out weekend videos on a busy weekend! I can only wear all physical blockers on my face -- and will look for this one. I'm using up my Elta MD, which is a smidge dryer than is comfortable on my dry skin.
Ha! Well not really. I pre-record a lot lol. Sometimes I only film a couple times a week and try to get everything done that I have on my mind for RU-vid. Especially wedding weeks.
I tried this and the non tinted. And found them to be oily, even after a few minutes. I compared it to Elta Md and Jydropeotide and those absorb better to the skin.
Oh interesting. I don't find them to be oily at all myself. But every skin is different. I have super oily skin myself and I LOVE how this actually stays put on my skin. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
That looks good and something I'm definitely wanting to try. I have been wearing just my tinted spf as "foundation" just spot concealing if necessary then using rest of makeup a lot more lately, which I'll do a lot through the summer. I normally use Paula's Choice or MyChelle, but with the moisturizer I just started using, the MyChelle one pills, even waiting up to an hour after skin care & not using foundation. 😭
Do you use the MyChelle sun protection sun shield liquid spf 50? That’s what I use and I have to mix in in my hand with my moisturizer and then I apply them together and I don’t have it pill up this way. I hope this helps.
Interesting. I may have the best luck with it during daytime because I tend to use a few essences with hydrating benefits instead of a straight up moisturizer most mornings. Light layers of moisture seem to work best with all of my SPF's. But with dry skin that may not be an option.
Do you think this would pill at all on dry areas of the face? I have an issues with another brand that is water resistant catching dry skin. The non water resistant versions seem fine. Thanks!
I don't think it would pill up but I cannot say that for sure. I just know that it's really effective on my oily skin and works well with all of the skincare that I have paired with it so far - for me mostly essences, BHA, niacinamide and light moisturizers from Isntree. I do think this is the most hydrating but still oily skin appropriate SPF that I have found in a while. Most hydrating SPF's slide off my face. This does not.
Do you know what the PPD of this is? Australian Gold tinted is 19.2. That’s my HG. I don’t see myself getting the DRMTLGY, as it’s more expensive to get to Canada. I do have and enjoy their tinted moisturizer sunscreen though.
I’m actually not aware of the PPD of this one as they don’t list it. I wish the Australian gold worked for my skin. Unfortunately way to much silicone for my oily skin 😫. Slides right off lol. It’s a good formula for most tho.
