And as an aside. I love how Robert interacts with us all and doesn't mind if he stumbles over words and laughs at himself. It shows a great sense of humour and that he doesn't take himself so seriously. Thank you for all the help and guidance you have given us in 2020 and now 2021.

As a teacher, I can attest that kids are growing up thinking that RU-vid videos are how people speak/work/create in real life: no mistakes, everything perfect. Then they get frustrated when they make mistakes or have to redo something. Sweeties, no. What you’re seeing online is a Frankenstein’s monster patched together out of 20 takes 😂 So I ❤️ content creators like this who leave the mistakes in - or better yet, point them out. Creating is HARD WORK. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I wanted to ask if those earcuffs were real everyone was wearing cause I think it looks beautiful and I got the top of my ears pierced last summer and it's still very painful. And I see ppl with those piercing and it looks so painful

@@emiliec803 I'm pretty sure Robert is wearing clip ons in the video. But yeah cartilage piercings take awhile to heal in my experience. I have quite a few. Try wearing your hair up as much as you can and obviously try not to touch it unnecessarily. That usually helped the healing process.

@@emiliec803 are you spraying the piercing morning and night with saline? If not, that helps. When that isn't doing the trick bactine can be sprayed on. A few days of that and soreness subsides.

robert didn't include a drugstore eye primer but if anyone's interested the covergirl lid lockup primer is amazing and so affordable! i never see anyone mention it and it's my HOLY GRAIL

I absolutely love Wet and Wild eye shadow primer. I had also bought True & Luscious angel eyes, which is a higher end brand. Wet and Wild was far superior in wearability than the latter. No smudging or oily build up, even after about 8 hours of wear.

what i like about that palette is that you can really TELL why they chose those colours. sometimes youll get a theme palette and its just... a name with a bunch of random colours. in this one you can really pick out "oh, thats her first dress, thats the fairy godmother's cloak" etc.

That’s my favorite too, it’s based off the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical version which is why it’s so great. I was obsessed with it as a kid lol. We watched it all the time at the daycare I went to after it came out, I had no clue it wasn’t very well known until I was an adult looking for the DVD

Single favorite product is absolutely the Beauty Bakerie Lollipop Liner! I've slays struggled with eyeliner pens, and now I wear it at least 3 times a week and also keep one in my car for if I'm running late! Best eyeliner ever.

I still love the ardell demi wispies. They just look good with any look and on so many different eye shapes. And if you add more mascara to them, they be more dramatic too. A good all rounder

Tiana is so underrated! She is mine and my daughter's favorite Disney Princess. We've watched The Princess and The Frog probably at least 100 times by now and my daughter is only 3. She loves to dress up during the movie and play along. She also loves watching your videos with me.

Robert thank you for putting your concealer on before foundation! Back in the day (70s & 80s) that's how we used concealer, but most other influencers put it bnb on over foundation which makes no sense to me. ❤

It’s two different things. If you’re using the concealer to brighten then you should put it on after your foundation or it won’t brighten because your foundation is going to cover it up. If you’re only using it to conceal spots/blemishes then you’d use before. But you can also first put on your foundation and then see if the foundation covered up the blemishes, because you might not even need the concealer. Also you don’t want to layer the foundation on top of the concealer. All of this I’ve learned from Roberts videos btw.

You know what would be killa? Robert doing tutorials on models (when it is safe to do so)!!!! Robert, you are so amazing and talented, and genuine! I would rather only learn makeup from you then most "main stream" muas or influencers! You deserve everyone who does makeup to know your name!🖤 I would love to see how you do clients (when we can socialise)! Seeing you do the makeup of a model who looks like me, would be so helpful! I'm sure people with different shape faces/structures and skin tones/values would agree. Don't get me wrong, you give heaps of helping tips throughout your videos, which have helped me refine my makeup skills. But to see "me" and my problems being addressed...it would be like us hanging out and you teaching me how do my best💜

honestly, the Loreal Freshwear foundation is my favorite thing of the year. im pretty sure it came out the year prior, but i first used it last year . no matter if my skin is dry or combo or slightly oily, it always looks amazing and i get the most compliments because of it.

I've been nervous to really use Elf products just because how affordable they are, but it makes me feel so much better that you like and trust their products! My favorite product is Elf's Happy Hydration Cream!!! It makes my skin feel fresh all day without making me feel greasy. And it doesn't have any added fragrance! Ugh so good ❤️

@@ginabinafofina you're absolutely right, not every high end product is worth their price. But when you buy a product with a pretty low price point, there's a risk that the ingredients are not the greatest and will bring adverse effects like severe allergic reactions. Of course that also goes for high end products as well. So it's great that Elf is so affordable and not dangerous for consumers at the same time 😊

@@Fluffy1431 Maybe?? But people have been using drugstore/cheaper makeup for years and they’re fine. I just think it’s a bit of a poor take to assume that you’ll get a bad reaction if something costs less. Allergies exist and it’s up to the consumer to figure it out for themselves if they have one but it’s not a guarantee just because a product is less expensive.

I love that Robert will literally go for the funky or bold colors when it comes to eyeshadows(albeit tending to stay purple)! I tend to stay neutral and orange or pink but never blue or green and I’m learning so much by watching him play with all these different colors! I love it 💕

My favourite product is the Nude by Nature- touch of glow highlighting stick in the shade champagne. It's been my one staple in my make-up routine that has never changed. I always end up back to it no matter what highlight I try! So good!

My favourite notification ever while I drink tea. I hope you and your fiancé, puppies and family are well and taking each other 💖 I would found excuses not to go to parties too, introverts rule! My best friend gave me Revlon lipsticks bullets and Covergirl gloss for Christmas. I am surprised with how much I like them. Otherwise, I am fancy with my Dior cosmetics lol 🤣😂
