Let me say this - we couldn’t be MORE different when it comes to our coffee. I like coffee that is light, he doesn’t. I like my coffee with nothing in it, he likes it with cream and sugar. I like one or two cups, he could drink a pot. I never deviate from my normal blend, he’s all into trying new flavors each season.
Dunkin’ kicked off this year with a few new blends the New Dunkin’ Midnight and the New Explorer Batch.
Dunkin’ Midnight is the brand’s darkest roast ever, featuring a rich, smooth, full-bodied flavor, rounded out with notes of decadent cocoa and an intensely dark finish.
Dunkin’ Explorer Batch is the first coffee blend to be introduced as part of Dunkin’s new Limited Batch Series, Explorer Batch. It’s a medium roast featuring dark berry notes, rounded out with a smoky finish. To craft its unique Explorer Batch, Dunkin’ sourced beans from four highly regarded coffee regions, including Colombia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, and Sumatra. Explorer Batch will be available for a limited time, with new Limited Batch Series coffees to be introduced throughout the year.
We had our son Henry put in “M” on the Midnight and an “E” on the Explorer Batch (which we couldn’t see!) and did our taste test. We wanted to see if you could really tell the different between the dark roast and the medium roast. It wasn’t even a question! Matt could tell just by smell!
