New DYSON HAIR TOOL! 

I think this is a game changing attachment for those with disabilities!!!! Because you don't have to twist, turn, or be precise with it at all. Just need extreme patience and it does the work for you! People with a disability would be awesome

I have thick, wavy, crazy hair after drying my hair with the dyson, and with the new attachment, it makes a world of difference! I put it on highest air flow on the highest heat setting. My hair looks seriously smooth, shiny and healthy after I use the attachment, and I only use it on the outer surface layer! you have to try it on your own hair to know the magic.

For people saying just use a flat iron, this attachment is meant to use with no heat. It doesn’t flatten the hair or kill the body of your blowout. I don’t think it’s meant for people with thick healthy hair who don’t have to worry about damage or thin hair. It works, I’ve used my friend’s. But even Dyson states that it’s for flyaways (caused by static electricity) not frizz caused by humidity. Personally I don’t think it’s worth an extra $40, but since it comes with their new hairdryer that’s different. My Airwrap was much more of a game changer but it kind of hacks me off that they are charging so much for attachments like the long barrels and this tool after we have already spent $500 on their hair dryers. 😒

I just wish Dyson would come out with big round brush attachment for the airwrap!

I have used that tool and it’s fantastic! Shiny, smooth hair in only 7 minutes, including hairdrying. Easier and faster than a flat iron.

If I had not seen this video and I saw you on the street after doing this on only one side of your hair, I wouldn't think to myself, wow, she only did one side of her. Crazy girl.

So you would have to blow dry your hair and then blow dry it again really slow with this tool? I’d rather use the revlon one step

I hope they make a version that goes on the little dryer that comes with the air wrap!

My first thought is: It takes a long time to use the tool for seeing the result. Who has the time and the muscles in the arms to dry the hair first and then smoothes it? And then styling. It would take an hour for me to do my hair. A flatiron would be faster.

My hair is exactly like yours only brown but have that wave/kinkiness and so it is nice to see it control it, I don't like straightening my hair poker straight all the time, this gave a really nice finish. I will purchase the Dyson Hairdryer now. Thanks ❤

Just got a Dyson (wow) and it comes with flyaway attachment. It's amazing, quickly tames my poofy hair so no need for a flat iron. Fun to use too!

This is a super neat attachment, I definitely think it's worth the extra step especially if you pair it with a serum.

This reminds me of the Dyson Air Wrap hack where you dry your hair by putting sections through the inside of the oval “hair dryer” attachment.

Would love to see how it looked throughout the day. Like you said, it looked shinier and smoother, but still had some flyaways. Would it still look better overall by the end of the day or would both sides be just as fluffy?

Dyson always has really good products.

I feel like it’s just a gimmick. It’s doubling the time of a blowdry. I like sleek but I find when I do sleek hairstyles, the next day it looks lifeless. I just blowdry my hair with a barrel brush to get it straight but volume and a quick run through with straighteners at the ends and a humidity serum does just as good and lasts longer and half the price without all these attachments.

Don't see it's worth the effort or the cost. Use a hot iron in half the time. Hair still looks frizzy, but only my opinion.

I just use a little hairspray for flyaways.

I just bought the hairdryer with all the attachments for Christmas and this attachment is what I’m most excited about. Using a flat iron makes my hair look flat although sleek. I’m hoping this attachment will give that sleek look but with volume.

No heat is just like using cold water.. keeps the cuticle of hair down instead of heat fluffing it up & or outward. Plus the way you have to use this tool is also encouraging the hair cuticle in the correct direction. Brushing hair when dry and any kind of heat causes frizzing, fraying, breaking, dryness. I've not brushed my hair in years, only the hair dressers who cut & style my hair once or twice a year & I've had many compliments on how healthy my hair is. I have wavy to curly hair.. depending on the day & weather & mood my hair is in.

Your totally right. You dry your hair with whatever brush you like, I use a flat brush and I would get it 80% done and then I would switch to that attachment with heat tho- the hair needs heat to smooth the cuticle down on the shaft of the hair, cold won’t work. And then just go over in sections again for 5 minutes and I think it will then give you super sleek straight hair with no straightening required. What does everyone else think ?

My hair is soooooo thick and takes FOREVER to dry and I just got the Dyson hairdryer, and it is soooooo powerful! I’m SUPER impressed. How did I live without it? I was also curious what this attachment was and how to use it, so thank you.

Personally, I like your hair better with some wave and bend... With the right curl pattern product just scrunch and let dry naturally... You'll be amazed how healthy your hair will become when you lay off the heat for a few weeks to months... I never knew I had wavy hair until I laid off heat and used Co-wash instead of sulfates day in and day out... Im able to go 4 days in between washes... My hair and wallet thanks me....👍👍

Thanks for a great video. When you use the Supersonic and AirWrap, be aware of the placement of your hand, because covering the filtercover will make the airflow less powerful ;-)

I like the Idea of It & I understand It’s good for people with disabilities maybe but as a hairdresser I feel like the Revlon paddle brush will give a better finish. You will never get sleek hair with a cool setting. Heat breaks the bonds of the hair to create that polished finish

Oh good lord baby Jesus this takes forever. Just put on hair serum before you blow dry and BAM... You don't have to wait 6yrs for this tool to get through all your hair.

I don't get it. I like that it doesn't flatten your hair like a flat iron but I think you could do the same thing with a regular hairdryer in half the time. Dyson is just ridiculously expensive.

I have the stain air dryer and was thinking of buying this extra attachment but I don’t think it’s that good really. Best off with a lightweight finishing oil after straightening. $40 is expensive for an attachment. Thank you for the video

This attachment is meant to be used as finish to brush the small flyaways into your main hair.

I'm not really wowed by this product, Dyson needs to come out with a big round attachment like the Revlon one

The best and cheapest way to hide flyaways are a hot comb and a wax stick be light with the wax stick a little goes a long way! If you have oily hair use a dry shampoo after the wax stick! I almost forgot make sure to use a clarifying shampoo on wash day after using the product so there won't be any build up and a deep conditioner ☺️

Do you think the airwrap flat brush would just give the same result?

You should test the Dyson Airstrait . They claim you can use the straightener with wet hair and it drys and straightens with not damage.

I have this , it’s amazing, my hair is very thick and mid back past my bra strap , my hair is very smooth, sleek,soft and so much less damaging to your hair . Do your research .

If dyson could bring out airwrap attachments for the hairdryer I’d be sold! I’m pretty disappointed that I saved and saved to buy that hairdryer then they released the airwrap which would’ve been all the tools I need in one! I contacted dyson to ask for help as I was just out of warranty - they just suggested I buy the airwrap too…..sure….I can spend another £300+ on an identical product!! 🙈

I think if you lowered your elbow, could have helped. I've contemplated getting the attachment. I have super wavy curly frizzy hair.
