While this Berlin Declaration is a small but significant step forward it is 30 years too late. Worse still, it clearly represents a continuation of the West-centric approach among the Left in Europe and North America. How is it possible to come up with such a declaration without referring to what is happening in China and the developing world! Especially given the fact that Isabella's fame comes from her book on the neoiliberals and China.
