@@crystalrose9003 all the fast life living ages you quickly. The drugs, women, rock star life style. For them to make it through all of that is amazing.
@@LifeHackMEDIATVoh I understand that and it’s definitely a blessing. They’re just still young really and out here dancing like they’re in their twenties
I think Ralph was literally touched by what Mike said about him. It’s all so true. I hope that they can move on with all negativity because life is too short, and I think they realize that.
Mike Bivins was always the business guy in the group. He is the mogul behind Boyz II Men as well. It was great to see Mike give Ralph his flowers because RT was loyal to the group and was the one component they couldn't do without. Ralph could have felt some kind of way when they brought in Johnny Gill (who is also a phenomenal singer) but instead he embraced him. "Can You Stand The Rain" is one of the greatest R&B slow jams of all time.
Man new edition is the epitome of a successful group. I’m glad Mike gave Ralph his due respect because not only was he the front man and lead singer he always held the group together
I'm 50 and clearly remember being at my grandma's house dancing to Candy Girl and Popcorn Love as a little girl. And here I am sitting up at 3:50am binge watching New Edition and falling in love with this group all over again.
I'm so glad they overcame all their issues and reunited in brotherhood. Loving each other is the most important thing. Their story is more endearing than the music.
I'll forever be a New Edition Fan. Even though I dont know them personally, it seems like we grew up together. I measure my age by there's since we are around the same age. Listening to N.E.'s music takes my mind and spirit on a journey to past times from Elementary school to High school and even to now. They have even made mistakes in life along with us. I love yall and please keep giving us the music. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I hope to see them perform one day soon. That's a dream of mine. My favorite song from N.E. is 'BOYS TO MEN'. That song means a lot to me. It was the cause of my many self improvements that I've made throughout my life. God bless Yall❤❤❤❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
💯 Thankfully, I got a chance to see them perform live as a child in the 80’s. Though, my story is mostly the same. Btw, Boys to Men is my favorite NE song too. It was also played at the AAU Basketball inauguration/commencement ceremony our team out of Ferguson, MO. played in Las Vegas. When the song began, the organizers dropped balloons and confetti from the rafters. It gave me chills and I’m sure other young men in the auditorium felt a similar or exact resonating effect. The experience was so memorable, I’ll never forget it. It was one of many defining moments of manhood for me and the song seems to be just as powerful to you. Stay strong. God bless you my brother. PBUY. 💪🏾❤👑
I remember when they came out with “Candy girl” when I was in middle school. I love there legacy longevity Bobby and I are the same age. I absolutely respect and love them…. N.E. Baby yes❤
I love how they gave a shoutout to Brooks Payne ! Brooks cared more about them in the industry than anyone ! Wood Harris played " Brooks" in the New Edition Story.
What we're not going to do is treat my boy Johnny Gill like some second rate back up singer. I know he joined the group later but he was consistent, he brought an adult sound to the group with the forever classic Can you stand the rain, and his solo projects produced some of the best songs of all times. That man is legendary. Tired of him getting pushed to the back of NE.
I LOVE THEM GOD IS GOOD SO BLESSED THAT THEY ARE STILL HERE WITH US 🤞🏽🙏🏽💙💕BOBBY GOD DEFINITELY HAS YOU IN HIS HANDS❤. I WATCHED THE NEW EDITION STORY 50 TIMES NO CAP💯💪🏾. AND I DEFINITELY BEEN ROCKIN WIT YA'LL 40 YRS
Give them their flowers while they're still here to receive them. Love them all❤❤❤❤40 years in the game. A true brotherhood they have their ups and downs but at the end of the day still family
I’m an NE Lifer!!! ❤😍 Bobby and I are the same age and I fell in love with this group from day one! They are so special to me and I am so proud that they have lasted 40 years.
Good morning, Sherri🙏🏽🙌🏾😀💜🎼🎵 Let's keep Bobby in prayer over the weekend I made a 5hr drive from Edinburg to see New Edition in Houston ,Tx.😀🎵& was in shock when they announced Bobby got ill🙏🏽. These awesome friends of his were so AMAZING doing their thing for him. We all cheered for Bobby during the show💜 even though he was not on stage. We ( Htown) definitely showed our love 💜for Bobby 😢 🙏🏽. I LOVE NE more than ever 💜💜💜💜💜💜 their rhythm is so MESMERIZING & MY WISH CAME TRUE TO SEE THEM in concert after 35 years wishing to see them as a young girl & FINALLY MY WISH came TRUE 💜🎼🎵😀 🎼🎵🎼🎵💃🏽😀😁 . I even named my 👠👠New Edition heels😂💜🎼🎵💃🏽. I LOVED their performance & their sparkling suits 💜💜💜💜💜so worth every mile!!!!!😊🎼🎵 I must say I was sad that Bobby wasn't able to perform😪💜🙏🏽I left a little incomplete with his absence😢. This is a good example of a beautiful, blessed friendship that has each other's back through the good & bad 🙏🏽💜🤗 they will always be there. 🎼🎵🎼🎵🎼
👍😊At 9:08 min Mike gives Ralph love for being a great lead / front man of New Edition ! Maurice Starr only wanted to sign Ralph but he said nope, its all of us or nothing and now you have NewEdition , rite on👍
Can we stand the rain, is one of my favorite songs of all times, so I will always love them. Thank you New Edition for sticking together after all this time. ❤️❤️❤️
I’ve seen them in a lot of interviews and I have to say.. THIS IS THE BEST ONE I’VE SEEN💯 THEY’RE ALL GENUINELY HAPPY AND IN A GREAT PLACE IN LIFE & ENJOYING EACH OTHER! 🙏🏿
When Sherri asked her last question about why their fans keep coming to see them, it's because our generation is also our community and the more time goes by, the more we appreciate each other. I am very appreciative of New Edition and other groups whose music and careers I grew up on. Our memories tie us together. 💗
Lord bless them. Once a fan always a fan of New Edition. Sherry is my girl, I love her. She is so funny and she is doing great with her own show. You go girl!❤
I'm glad New Edition is not settling for a mediocrity Las Vegas residency. They settled before by trusting others because they were five boys at the time from the Boxton Projects in Boston that had no understanding of the music business and they ended up broke because of it . I teared up when I seen how dirty the industry took advantage of them in the New Edition story. Brooks was the only that tried to do right by them and that's why Ronnie gave a shoutout to Brooks but with that said they have a better understanding of the business and industry now and they will not settle ever again !
I was 14 when I'd attended my first NE concert; Ronnie was my crush. Every year for Christmas all I'd ask for was my ticket to the NE concert and extra cash for my outfit (my girlfriends and I dressed alike). Such fond memories.
I saw them 11 years ago and they were phenomenal. These guys are legends and icons, I listen to their music daily and I'm 38 going on 39 years old this year.
They are truly legends , Ralf a great frontman, he kinda sounded like snoop with his speaking voice lol, new edition will continue to be in our hearts for a long time. !
I was 11 when New Edition came out with Candy Girl. I am 50 now and love them just like I did at that age. God bless New Edition, I love you guys thank you for all you do have done. I am still your number 1 fan till I am 6 feet under!!!
I'm most definitely an NE4LIFER and my daughter grew up on their music cuz I'm her mama. :) She learned their story watching The New Edition Story and last year when she was 22 I finally got to take her to see them on the Culture Tour! And then we just saw them again in DC on the Legacy Tour.
It's a beautiful thing to see them and other great black groups still together!!!!... What yall was doing in Johnny's bed tho?...brushed right over that...He was trying it tho!!! 😆🤣😂
Meaningful words get thrown around so much in these newer times that people forget what the original meanings were. Like, I love you. Or, the term GOAT. Everyone wants to just HAND OUT these accolades. But, the reason they're still loved by their old fans and even new, is because they are indeed, CLASSIC. A class act. Time transcending. NE is every form of the word class. And we are here for it!!!!❤❤❤❤
Just saw them here in Atlanta, it was so bomb!!!❤🔥 It was a GREAT show, from everybody. All the other performers are headliners themselves, Guy/Teddy Riley, Keith Sweat, and Tank. I paid a pretty penny, and would gladly pay it again. ❤
I love this group Bobby looks like he's so tired. He can't keep up with the group. Ricky is my favorite guy he's the sexiest of all of them to me. Nice good looking chocolate man ❤❤
