Hello everybody and welcome back to City Bus Manager!
We're back in Tarvin today where we're going to be taking a look at the brand new E-Bus & Green Energy DLC. This DLC sees a range of new electric buses and charging stations added to our game. Unfortunately however, there's not many for us to choose from currently as we're on a UK Map.
We're going to be seeing how we can improve the Chester Park & Ride with some electric buses. I can't see our company using these as an entire fleet, but for some services in city centres, it's definitely going to benefit our organisation!

You can upgrade your timing points on your CPR to charge the bus while it awaits also, build solar panels at the Depo to help charge the buses.

That’s a good idea, though to be fair the range on some of these buses, they manage a full day out without needing a charge 😁

With having the solar panels you will save energy and once you charge up your bus at night the extra energy you have can be sold back so, its an extra money maker.

@@stevenhunt3418Do you need stand alone charging point even if you have the big solar panels or do u need the smaller ones too

You will need a charging point to charfe them up the put the solar panels down and the canopy over the bus will help you get more power from the sun when it rises. I watched a video from ZuBoat and he explained everything.@barte8522

I purchased the DLC too. I'm liking it but obviously at present with the dlc it is European buses until mods create electric buses suitable for the UK. I have the chargers at the bus bays also the solar panels and the covers over the bus bays which can cut your electricity costs and any extra electric you produce is automatically sold to the power company. Also if you goto the bus stop option by clicking on the mini map you can add charging stations at the bus stops meaning your buses will charge at bus stops while on the route.

Enjoying the content. I just wanted to add that you can give buses fleet numbers now in the panel that appears when you click on the bus in the depot

Just to let you know. Joe that you can get solar panels and shelter for your electric buses mind you you may have to go to the workshop and get electric buses but it was worth it and you will have to upgrade the stops to serve electric buses or the electric will be dead before they get to the Depot😊

Nice video! Maybe consider extending the CPR as well at the other end as some western suburbs of Chester are still not served

You probably know already but you can put the destination and the number on the bus by typing it in the spaces below Reg plate. You can also give your bus a unique code fleet number which shows up on the outside of the bus. Don’t know if it works on many of the steam network buses

Make a CPR B which goes halfway to the zoo where it is busiest, but it only operates at peak times. Maybe rename the original the CPR A as well. Also the Bus Space Photovoltaic is a solar panel which produces electricity so you don't have to pay for so much electricity from your supplier.

Hi Joe! i watch all your vids half the time and id like to add my comment by saying can you add a route 9 starting at Wrexham going through chester and then finishing at tarvin can you put that route in but uses Streetlites and Enviro 200's and e400's (Rarley for e400) please do it , cherrio! -Dylan

On your shift schedule click on settings ,you will find allocate any bus regardless if you not got enough grouped

I like the content Joe. Does it have the big white thing that speeds up charging like in real life. You could make a route just for the Enviro 400ev and a livery that stands out from the others and still looks good. That would be fantastic. I hope you have a great day

I think there is an option to build chargers on the final stops of the route to charge the buses while they are stopped

hi there, liking the video, i have notice when you pressed on the blue box at the bottom of the screen to show what you can researcher and all that, there is two ways of payment, how do i get that please

On CPR unfortunately, you only changed the destination station on the first timetable, not on the others, because only copy departures times, but nothing else.

Could have some E branding on the Electric buses? On my game I'm doing colour coded routes which gives me some livery variations in the depot

In the main menu, if you click the mods folder you can click which buses you do and don’t want 😁

I can let you in on that. It's not a copyright thing at all, it's very much an in-joke as making the model took quite a bit of time and then it became a collaborative effort. There was a joke of Enviro When? When is it coming, which was later shortened to Wenviro, and the name stuck :) A little easter egg if you will :)
