This parking garage used to have a glass elevator, but it was only accessible by first taking a flight of stairs up or down like in many apartment buildings. Sometime in the early 2000s, the elevator was modified to be accessible from the ground level right off the sidewalk. It was retrofitted with a solid set of rear doors that parted in the middle, in place of the window. It could have remained a glass elevator had the rear doors had been glass but that would not be the case. It was in this state that I had originally "filmed" this elevator while telling the tale of it's glassed history.
Now, the entire structure has been remodeled and elevator and the adjacent stairs have been removed and an entirely new elevator has been installed. This is where I come in. Unfortunately I no longer have the original video with the modified elevator.
