Top video Guy,gotta say,I love Endura,I always have,I do miss the MT500 Longs (Tights) though, they stopped producing those a couple of years back, for serious mountain biking those were the dog's danglies IMHO.They were almost thorn proof,my only gripe about stuff these days is that it's so darn thin, great for Tour roadies but not so great for us MTB's........anyway great stuff mate, hope the leg's on the mend.
this might have been a live stream. so quality had to be low to be able to stream it, not many can live stream 4K it requires super fast internet. or he uploaded in low resolution.
Wonder how the fit is on the shorts, have a pair of mt500 shorts in Large (same size in other brands) but come up really small, especially in the crotch! And don't even mention the liner, what were they thinking?
Therestechchunkinmysick it’s actually pretty cheap for a Mtn jacket with similar spec and detailing and it’s way beyond most MTB jackets in performance.
@@GuyKesTV I mean it's simiarly priced to some items and it has the hood and the tail which I like (also the very old school mountaineering colour!) but I can go an buy a good quality mountaineering or sailing jacket with a similar spec for a third less, half if I look for sale items. I think I paid £105 quid for the Musto sailing jacket I currently wear cycling direct from them. I think to be honest my real issue with the price is how hardy it will be. I've Endura shorts which are great but a jacket is always one accident away from the bin. If it had say considerable elbow rip protection for instance it would give me confidence to purchase knowing it will surivive a few tumbles. I look forward to your full review.
Ey up Robbie, saw both your comments but I'll answer them here. Unfortunately since that first review Endura have changed their DWR to a more eco friendly one which is great for the planet but not for keeping dry for long. Also the fact you can't split it into trousers and jacket limits its flexibility particularly for bike packing/gravel. If you're determined to go with waterproofs I'd say Gore Tex from 7mesh is worth the investment but I mostly ride in Polartec Alpha stuff now as the warmth to weight and versatility is exceptional and it stays that way even if it's hammering down. Needless to say 7Mesh do a new smart fleece which I've lived in for the last few months on and off the bike. Even if it does make you look like a Telly Tubby www.bikeperfect.com/reviews/7mesh-chilco-anorak-remarkable-weather-beating-tech
@@GuyKesTV Hey Guy. That is super useful thank you. Ive decided to 7mesh for both the Skypilot and Glidepath. More expensive of course but so well reviewed. So thanks again! By the way... it was your review that persuaded me to buy the Coefficient bars for my adventure bike. Great work... 🙏
Hi guy, while your out of action I'd love to know.... any details on the Orange Clockwork evo 29 comp, the green one. I've tried and tried for 2021 reviews and not alot is coming up. I understand it's currently being shipped with sram sx instead of shimano 12spd that it should have, which I see as quite a downgrade compared to the shimano. Any opinion of the bike the ride and or spec would be great cheers
Hey Guykes, I have a question. I'm 5'8 and I weigh somewhere around 116-125 lbs. I'm skinny. I want to get the le col x bahrain mclaren sport jersey and I was wondering if that's a little big or just right for me?
I'm 5'11 and 150 so pretty skinny too. I've got a medium Sport jersey which is a squarer cut so I'd definitely go small for a snug race fit. Hope that helps.
